Meandering Moose Cabin is the secluded wood cabin of your dreams just outside Florissant, CO, surrounded by nature and endless hiking and biking trails — with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling in winter. Step onto the gorgeous deck to soak in the quiet, then head inside the knotty-pine retreat, where each bedroom sits on an opposite side of the house for privacy and a loft adds more sleeping space.
The wide-open main living area brings everyone together for cooking, dining, and movie nights on the flatscreen, with a well-equipped kitchen for easy meals and a cozy leather sofa in an adjacent nook. Free WiFi and cable are included.
Near Pikes Peak, Florissant Fossil Beds, and area trails, it's a tranquil mountain getaway (4WD recommended in winter; full kitchen, no dishwasher).

This place was wonderful! Very private and peaceful. Cabin looks brand new and is a good size. Loved it!!!

Everything was great we had everything that was needed! The scenery was incredible! The down side is it’s far away from everything and it’s quite the drive. But if looking for a place to stay and enjoy then this is it!!

Super rural. Quiet. End of a long gravel road. Rustic. Shower was cold. On demand water heater doesn't keep up with shower flow. Decorations were cute. The whole house was cozy and warm. Kitchen was stocked with just enough cooking tools. No cookie sheet. No extras. Overall we had a good stay and the place fit what we needed for the most part. It is what it is. If you're looking for a getaway in the woods away from the rest of the world this is a good spot. If you're looking for super easy access to Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs you're not going to enjoy this spot. Note: Google maps routes you in a weird way that takes 35 minutes to get to Florissant. We tricked it into taking a different route by adding a stop at a different address and cute the time down to approximately 15 minutes. Super weird that it did that.
