Unwind in your private 5-person hot tub, gather by the fireplace, or enjoy the custom wine room and game room. Guests also get full access to Upper Ridge Retreat's shared 10 acres, complete with hiking trails, a mountain creek, pond, horseshoe pit, and communal bonfire spot. The ultimate mountain sanctuary.

· Wi-Fi & Cell Service: Wi-Fi is provided for streaming and remote work. Cell service can vary depending on your carrier due to the mountain elevation.

· Guest Screening & ID Verification: To comply with local regulations and protect our home, primary guests must complete a quick digital ID verification process (which may include a soft background check) and sign our standard Rental Agreement prior to receiving check-in instructions.
· Security Deposit Hold: A temporary security deposit authorization hold will be placed on your payment card shortly before arrival and released after departure, pending a clear damage inspection.

Our cabin trip was absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed. The cabin was beautiful, super clean, cozy, and had everything we could have asked for to make the stay comfortable. The location was perfect — peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by incredible scenery that made it easy to disconnect from everyday stress and just enjoy the moment.We spent our time making memories, enjoying the views, relaxing together, and taking in the quiet atmosphere. Every part of the experience felt welcoming and well thought out. Whether it was drinking coffee in the morning on the back porch, going on hikes with the kids, enjoying the evenings in the hot tub, or just spending quality time together as a family, it was one of those trips that you don’t want to end.The hosts were wonderful and helped make the experience even better. They were welcoming, thoughtful, and clearly put a lot of care into creating a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You can tell they pay attention to the details and genuinely want their guests to have a great experience. Their hospitality really added to what was already a memorable trip.This was easily one of our favorite getaways, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable cabin experience!

The cabin is as great as it looks online. It’s so secluded you are truly at peace. There is so much to do on property you really don’t have to leave but of course you can’t miss the downtown shops and amazing restaurants.

We greatly enjoyed our time here. Each morning began with coffee and a beautiful view, and our days were spent wandering the trails or alongside the creek while our children caught salamanders. The property is stunning and the cabin itself was very comfortable and welcoming. We especially loved how close it was to downtown Black Mountain. The town is charming, easy to walk, filled with unique shops and we enjoyed several great meals during our stay. We would love to return.
