• Layout & Terrain: Perched on a hill, the cabin offers quick roadside access for an easy arrival. The cabin sits close to the road, but the main yard and deck are positioned away from the road and provides a private outdoor experience.
• Privacy & Nearby Grounds: The property sits next to a currently vacant cabin, offering an extra layer of quiet and privacy. We are also located near a local campground, so you may hear the occasional distant sounds of campground enjoyment.
• Neighborhood Pups: Part of the mountain charm includes a few neighborhood dogs who occasionally wander by on their daily strolls (two from up the mountain and one or two from up the road). To keep things peaceful for everyone, we ask that you give them a firm "go home”. They are good listeners and will head right back to their own yards.

You will have access to the entire house minus the owner’s closets and attic. Please do not try to access these areas during your stay. Free parking for up to 3 vehicles. Be sure to pull straight in and off the road and be careful of road traffic when pulling in/out. Do not drive up the hill for that is not a driveway.

A personal vehicle is recommended for exploring the area, as public transportation is not available. Mountain roads are paved and well maintained but include winding roads and occasional steep grades. Four-wheel drive is recommended during the winter months in the event of snow or icy conditions. The cabin is easily accessible via paved, county-maintained roads, making it convenient to reach year-round while still offering the privacy of a mountain retreat.
