Featuring a traditional terracotta tiled floor and the original fireplace, the property provides an authentic home-away-from-home. Guests can relax in the open-plan living space that looks out to the terrace through a set of French doors. This space leads through to a small kitchen, and is furnished with a double sofa bed and a dining table. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge.

The property is surrounded by lush greenery with a private garden where guests can unwind, dine alfresco, or take advantage of the shared BBQ facilities. There\'s also a terrace that adds to the outdoor charm, making it ideal for gatherings with friends or family.

The property is situated in the countryside, a 10-minute walk / 2-minute drive from the tiny hamlet of Morrocco in the Chianti countryside of Barberino Tavarnelle.

Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and wooded hills, this location is a wonderful base for exploring Tuscany while remaining within easy reach of Florence (a 20-minute drive). Magical San Gimignano (a 25-minute drive) and Siena, the city of sublime art and sweet almond biscuits (a 35-minute drive) also make excellent excursions through the Tuscan countryside.

For nearby excursions, visitors can drive around 5 minutes to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, where you can explore the town and visit the historic Santa Lucia al Borghetto church. Antinori nel Chianti Classico, one of the area\'s most impressive wineries, is around 10 minutes by car and offers a memorable introduction to Chianti wine.

A car is strongly recommended for exploring the area, as many of the vineyards, villages and attractions are spread across the hills. The nearest restaurant is a 2-minute drive from the house, and there are several grocery stores in Sambuca, a 4-minute drive away.

Florence Airport is also the nearest major airport to the Barberino Tavarnelle area, approximately 35-45 minutes away by car.
