The Space:

As you arrive at 51 Steps, you'll make your way up the wooden staircase to the second floor, where the main entrance welcomes you into the heart of this newly renovated oceanfront home. Thoughtfully updated with all new furnishings, this spacious retreat offers plenty of room for families and groups to gather while enjoying breathtaking views of the Atlantic.



Second Floor – The Heart of the Home



The second floor is the main living area, featuring a bright, open-concept living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen with beautiful ocean views throughout. Whether you're preparing meals together, relaxing after a day at the beach, or simply enjoying the scenery, this level was designed to bring everyone together.



Step outside onto the expansive wraparound oceanfront deck, where comfortable seating invites you to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon breeze, or evening conversations while overlooking the beach. A large outdoor dining table seats eight, making it the perfect spot for meals with a view. Just off the main deck, a side deck offers a loveseat and additional seating for a quiet place to unwind.



Also on this level is a convenient laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer, along with a half bathroom that can be accessed directly from the outdoor deck, making it easy to freshen up after a day on the beach.



First Floor – Private Guest Retreat



Accessible from inside the home via the interior staircase, the first floor provides a comfortable and private retreat that's ideal for additional family members or friends.



This spacious room features two full-size beds, a Smart TV, and a cozy sitting area with a sleeper sofa, creating a flexible space to relax after a day in the sun. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is located inside the room.



Sliding glass doors open directly to the backyard, where you'll find the outdoor shower, a beach closet stocked with beach toys and gear, and the private path leading to your private dune crossover for direct beach access.



Third Floor – Rest & Recharge



The upper level features three beautifully appointed bedrooms designed for comfort and relaxation.



The large oceanfront bedroom offers two full size beds, a working desk and large 65" smart TV. breathtaking sunrise views, and a private ensuite bathroom with beautiful ocean views.



The second oceanfront bedroom features one king size bed with 55" Smart TV and spectacular views of the Atlantic, allowing guests to wake up to the sound of the waves each morning. This bedroom also has direct access to a full bathroom, which is also accessible from the hallway for added convenience.



The third bedroom features two twin beds plus a 40" Smart TV, making it a perfect space for children or additional guests.



Both upstairs bathrooms offer beautiful ocean views, adding another special touch to your stay.



With multiple gathering spaces, private beach access, and stunning ocean views from nearly every level, 51 Steps is thoughtfully designed for unforgettable family vacations, beach getaways with friends, and peaceful escapes along Florida's beautiful Space Coast.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the home, including the wraparound oceanfront deck, outdoor shower, beach closet, and private dune crossover leading directly to the beach. The only places off limits are the locked owner closet and the garage.



The Neighborhood:

Welcome to the quieter side of Melbourne Beach! 7185 S Hwy A1A is located along a beautiful stretch of Florida’s barrier island, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge.



This area is known for its uncrowded beaches, sea turtles, incredible sunrises, fishing, surfing, biking, and abundant Florida wildlife. The Archie Carr refuge protects one of the most important sea turtle nesting areas in the world. 🐢🌊



The neighborhood has a peaceful, residential feel rather than a busy resort atmosphere. You’ll find the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the barrier island and the Indian River Lagoon on the other, making this a wonderful location for guests who enjoy nature and the outdoors.



A short drive south takes you to Sebastian Inlet State Park, a local favorite for fishing, surfing, swimming, kayaking, wildlife watching, and exploring the coastline.



The Barrier Island Center is also nearby and is a great stop for families or anyone interested in learning more about sea turtles and the unique barrier-island ecosystem.



Restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and other conveniences are available along A1A and toward the town of Melbourne Beach. Because this part of the island is quieter and less commercialized, we recommend picking up groceries and essentials before settling in for the evening.

Take time to slow down and enjoy the surroundings! Walk the beach at sunrise, watch for dolphins offshore, look for turtle tracks during nesting season, or simply enjoy an evening listening to the waves.

Getting Around:

A car is recommended for getting around Melbourne Beach. The home is located directly along A1A, making it easy to explore the barrier island and surrounding Space Coast.



Restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and local attractions are a short drive away. Sebastian Inlet State Park is located south along A1A, while the town of Melbourne Beach and additional dining and shopping options are to the north.



A sidewalk and bike path runs along A1A and is great for walking, biking, or enjoying the coastal scenery. 🚲🌴



Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft may be available, but availability can be limited in this quieter part of the barrier island, so having your own vehicle is recommended.



Whether you’re heading out for dinner, exploring the Space Coast, or simply cruising along A1A, getting around is easy — and the ocean views along the way aren’t bad either! 🌊☀️
