The hotel is about 7-minute walk from the Horikirishobuen station (Keisei line) and you need about 25 minutes to travel from this station to Ueno station and about 50-60 minutes to get to Shinjuku station or any stations in the city center. This is the only apartment I could find which offered a good price. I really didn't want to spend several nights in a capsule hotel therefore this was the best option considering the price although I had to spend some extra time to go to the city center. The apartment was totally new and very well-equipped with everything you need (a stove, a fridge with a freezer, kitchen utensils and a washing machine in addition to the usual hotel amenities. The host was kind enough to let me check in a few hours earlier since the room was ready. I could easily reach to the host by calling his phone number when I found out my room number wasn't sent to me via emails. I highly recommend this new hotel!
The neighbour upstairs was making noise after 12 midnight, either running the washing machine every night or walking around restlessly. I had to knock at his door and scolded him on the third night and then everything became quieter.
