About this cabin rental
Inside, the cabin combines rustic charm with modern comforts. The main bedroom features a king-size bed, and the adjoining sitting/dressing area includes a makeup station and loveseat that converts to a twin bed. A Pack ’n Play-style crib is also available for families traveling with an infant.
The living room offers two oversized beanbag chairs and a traditional wood-burning stove for cozy evenings. The bright front sunroom provides another comfortable place to relax and features a sofa that converts into a queen-size bed.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a farmhouse sink, dishwasher, electric stove and oven, along with everything needed to prepare meals. Outside, you’ll also find a gas grill with grilling utensils.
The cabin has one full bathroom with a tub and shower, plus a hair dryer. A stackable washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are provided for your convenience.
One of the highlights of Rocky Top Cabin is the outdoor space. Enjoy meals or games on the screened porch with a table for six, or start your morning with coffee in the two-person back porch lounge area. In the evening, gather around the wooded fire pit, where Adirondack chairs, marshmallow roasting sticks and s’mores supplies are waiting for you.
Guests are welcome to walk around and explore the 7-acre property. Deer, turkey and other wildlife are frequent visitors, making it easy to forget how conveniently located you actually are.
The cabin also makes a great home base for exploring the area. You’re within easy driving distance of The Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount, Roanoke and the Berglund Center, Smith Mountain Lake, Martinsville Speedway, Callaway Speedway and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Whether you’re coming for a concert, NASCAR weekend, a day at the lake, mountain sightseeing or simply a quiet weekend away, Rocky Top Cabin puts you close to plenty to do while giving you a peaceful place to return to.
Sleeping arrangements: King bed • Queen sleeper sofa • Twin sleeper loveseat • Pack ’n Play available
Please note: The cabin sits on a naturally sloped, wooded property with uneven terrain and may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty navigating inclines. The property may be inaccessible during snow or icy conditions due to the driveway and terrain.
Come spend the morning drinking coffee on the porch, explore Southwest Virginia during the day, grill dinner in the evening and finish the night around the fire. Rocky Top Cabin offers the privacy of a woodland getaway with the convenience of being just off Route 220.
