About this house rental

Summary:

Located in the heart of Roma Norte, one of Mexico City's most sought-after neighborhoods, Zaterra is a complex of six independent apartments within a single two-story building. While booking the entire property can accommodate a large group of up to 20 guests, it's important to know that the apartments are not interconnected and there is no shared indoor living room, kitchen, or dining area where the whole group can gather at once — the only shared space is the building's two terraces. It's a great option for housing several people or families under one roof, but it's not designed as a traditional house where the whole group shares one indoor common space. Its location puts some of the city's best cafés, restaurants, and galleries within walking distance.

The Space:

Zaterra is made up of six independent apartments spread across two floors:

Apt 101: 1 queen bed + 1 sofa bed

Apt 102: 1 queen bed + 1 sofa bed

Apt 201: 1 king bed + 1 sofa bed

Apt 202: 1 queen bed + 1 sofa bed

Apt 301: 1 king bed + 1 sofa bed

Apt 302: 2 queen beds + 1 sofa bed

In total, the property offers 13 beds (7 conventional beds: 2 king and 5 queen, plus 6 sofa beds), with room for 20 guests. Each sofa bed is located in its own apartment's living area, not in a shared space. Each apartment operates independently, with its own bedroom, living area, and bathroom.

Guest Access:

It's important to understand that Zaterra does not function as a traditional whole house: it's made up of six independent apartments that share the same building but are not connected to one another. There is no shared indoor common area — such as a living room, kitchen, or dining room — where all 20 guests can gather at the same time; for example, there's no space for the whole group to cook together, have dinner all at once, or watch TV together. The only shared space is the building's two terraces, available when booking the entire property. Outside of these terraces, each apartment operates independently, with private access to its own bedroom, living area, and bathroom. The property has a private entrance and a smart lock for self check-in.

The Neighborhood:

Roma Norte is widely regarded as one of Mexico City's most vibrant and cosmopolitan neighborhoods, located within the Cuauhtémoc borough. Its Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture sits alongside a steady stream of specialty coffee shops, chef-driven restaurants, cocktail bars, and independent art galleries. A short walk away are Parque México and Parque España, two of the area's most iconic green spaces, surrounded by terraces and boutique shops. The neighborhood is also a cultural hub, with design markets, bookstores, and an active nightlife scene that draws both locals and international visitors.

Getting Around:

Roma Norte is a highly walkable neighborhood, with easy access to Metrobús stations along Avenida Insurgentes and Metro stations (such as Insurgentes and Sevilla), making it easy to reach Centro Histórico, Zona Rosa, Condesa, and Paseo de la Reforma without a car. Rideshare services (Uber, Didi) are widely available in the area. The property does not have on-site parking; parking is on the street, paid via the corresponding parking meter. Mexico City International Airport is approximately 30–40 minutes away by car, depending on traffic.

Other Things to Note:

The property is not one interconnected house: it's 6 independent apartments that share the same building. The only shared space is the building's two terraces.

The property has two floors; accessing some apartments requires using stairs.

There is no on-site parking; guests must park on the street and pay at the parking meter.

Family and infant friendly (children under 2 years welcome).

Long-term stays are allowed.

Great for large groups looking for accommodation under one roof — not recommended for groups seeking one shared indoor space for everyone to spend time together..
