The Space:
The views are the other half of the story. Nearly every wall has a window or a sliding glass door pointed at the Smokies, so the mountains stay with you from the kitchen sink to the master bed. Catch the sunrise from the balcony off the master suite, then close out the day in the hot tub while the sun drops behind the ridgeline.
Inside, it lives bigger than you'd expect. The entry level opens right onto the wraparound porch, with a comfortable leather living room and an eat-in kitchen that looks out at the mountains. Down in the dungeon there's a pool table, the throne, and room for game night, with sliding doors out to the hot tub. Upstairs, the master suite has its own coffee bar, a jacuzzi-jet tub, and a private balcony.

Other Things to Note
► Stairs: the home has stairs up to the master suite, down to the dungeon and back patio, and up to the porch from the grilling area. For guests with mobility limitations, the entry level is step-free, with a sleeper sofa and a patio off the kitchen that are accessible without stairs.
► Well water: like many mountain homes, the cabin is on well water. It is completely safe and clean for drinking, brushing teeth, and bathing, though some guests prefer bottled water.
► Nearby construction: the neighborhood is still developing, so you may hear some construction noise between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
► Pest control: the home is serviced monthly, but in such a woodsy setting the occasional bug can slip in through an open door or window. Please keep doors and windows closed when you can.
► Wildlife: the Smokies are home to bears, coyotes, raccoons, and more. Please store all food and trash securely and clean the grill promptly after use.
► Security cameras: there is an exterior camera at the front door facing the walkway. It records audio and video.
► Travel insurance: we recommend purchasing travel insurance, since we can only issue refunds within the listing's cancellation policy.
The Log Castle is a genuinely one-of-a-kind Smoky Mountain stay, equal parts novelty and comfort, with the mountains in view from nearly every room.
