Summary:

Room for twelve and enough going on that nobody fights over the TV. Swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub, then head upstairs for the pool table, ping pong and arcade cabinet. Four bedrooms, a king sleeper sofa, a full kitchen and a dining table for six.



The fenced backyard has a fire pit, a grill, a picnic table and bar seating for eight under string lights. Good base for reunions, graduations, PCS moves and long weekends with the whole crew.



The Space:

Two stories, four bedrooms and three separate places to hang out, so a group of twelve never ends up stacked in one room.



Downstairs

The front room is a lounge with a coffered ceiling and a real wood bar — where the adults land after the kids go up. The living room has a sectional, a fireplace and a big mounted TV with a sound system. The kitchen runs on granite with a full stainless lineup, a coffee bar with both drip and Keurig, and four barstools at the peninsula. Dining table seats six with the door straight out to the backyard. There's a powder room on this floor and a full-size washer and dryer in the house.



Upstairs

The billiards room holds a full-size pool table and its own TV. The bonus room has a ping pong table, an arcade cabinet and a play corner set up for younger kids. A loft with a sofa sits between them, good for a book or a nap while the games run.

Outside

The fenced backyard is flat, private and shaded by mature pines. The above-ground pool has a full wood deck around it with loungers and umbrella tables. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. You are welcome to message us and ask about the pool status for your reservation dates. The pool is cleaned on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the schedule of the third-party pool vendor. The hot tub sits on the covered back patio next to the grill, the bistro table and a glider. Past the deck there's a stone fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs, plus a picnic table and bar-height seating for eight. A driveway that takes several cars.

Getting Around:

You'll want a car. Downtown Sanford is about 12 minutes away for groceries and dinner. From there: Raven Rock State Park 30 minutes, Fort Bragg 40, Pinehurst and Southern Pines 35, Raleigh and RDU airport 45, Chapel Hill and Durham about an hour.



Other Things to Note:

Audio and video are recorded on the exterior of the property 24/7. There is a camera in the garage as well; however the garage is off-limits and locked during your stay.



You will be required to sign a rental agreement in our guest portal after confirming your reservation.



Garage: not open to guests.



Pool: open seasonally, roughly Memorial Day to Labor Day. Outside those dates, it's closed and covered. The hot tub runs year-round. The pool is cleaned on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the schedule of the third-party pool vendor.



Water safety: the pool is above-ground with deck access, and there is no fence or gate around the pool deck itself. Children must be supervised at all times, in the pool and in the hot tub. No lifeguard.



Stairs: all four bedrooms, both game rooms, and the loft are on the second floor. The first floor has the living space, kitchen, powder room and laundry only. Not a good fit for anyone who can't do a full flight of stairs.



Parking: two-car garage plus a wide driveway. Please keep cars off the grass and out of the street overnight.



Neighborhood: this is a residential street with families next door. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM, and that includes the pool deck and the fire pit.



Fire pit: wood-burning. Please put it fully out before you go in for the night, and keep kids back from it.



Getting around: you'll want a car.
