Escape to MawMaw Bear’s Nook, a brand-new, purpose-built, pet-friendly cabin designed for couples, small families, or friends seeking a peaceful mountain getaway. Tucked away in the woods between Murphy, North Carolina, and Blairsville, Georgia, you'll enjoy the perfect blend of serenity, tranquility and convenience—an inviting retreat with an “Illusion of Seclusion” - the feeling of being miles from it all while remaining close to charming mountain towns, hiking, shopping, and dining.



The Space:

Unwind in a comfortable king bed. The chaise-style couch also converts to a double bed with linens, pillows and a blanket stored within. Prepare meals in the modern kitchen. Relax on the private covered porch as you take in the sights and sounds of nature. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit beneath a sky full of stars for the perfect end to your day.



Your four-legged companions are welcome, too! The fully fenced dog yard gives pets a safe place to play while you relax. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Please include pets in your guest count when booking. An $85 pet fee applies per stay.
