Summary:

A one-bedroom apartment on the sixth floor of a 1968 building renovated by Serrano Monjaraz, directly across from Parque España. Curved glass opens the view over the treetops and the rooftops of Condesa. King bed, open kitchen, wood floors and a rare kind of quiet for the middle of the neighborhood. Made for two, and for walking downstairs to breakfast.



The Space:

The view comes first. The building was designed in 1967 by Serrano, Serrano y Nava and won the Glass and Aluminum Innovation Award the following year; when it was renovated, that idea stayed in the thermoformed glass bubbles that curve along the façade and hand the interior a wide panorama of Parque España. From the sixth floor you sit level with the treetops, with the rooftops of Condesa behind them.



The apartment is organized around a wooden box that separates the service areas from the living space, so everything is within reach without feeling tight. The floors are Austrian wood over acoustic insulation and the windows are double and hermetic: you see the city but barely hear it. The lighting is LED and responds to voice. The kitchen opens onto the living room, with an electric cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator, and the dining table seats five even though the apartment sleeps two. It's a good place to cook and stay at the table talking.



The bedroom has a king bed and its own screen, with air conditioning and heating for any time of year. Morning light comes in off the park; at night the street quiets down and you watch the windows across the way come on.



Guest Access:

The whole apartment is yours. The building has an elevator and security at the entrance; when you arrive, the guard only needs to see your ID before letting you up. The lock is digital and we send you the code with your arrival instructions, so you can come in whenever you land without waiting for anyone.



The Neighborhood:

Cross the street and you're in Parque España, which belongs to runners and dogs early on and fills with families by late afternoon. Condesa is a neighborhood for walking: Amsterdam makes its full loop in half an hour, Michoacán keeps its tables out on the sidewalk, Parque México is ten minutes away and Roma starts on the other side. There are good bakeries two blocks down and cafés where nobody rushes you. Chapultepec is just west, an easy stroll.



Getting Around:

Almost everything is walkable. For the rest, Uber works very well and the Chapultepec and Sevilla metro stations are close by. The building has no parking, so if you're driving it's worth looking into hourly parking nearby.



Other Things to Note:

Cleaning is not included during the stay; if you'd like an extra service, we're happy to arrange it. Trash goes down to the container in the basement. An iron is available on request from storage. The building was restored with a lot of care and we appreciate guests treating it the same way: any damage will be charged accordingly.



For security purposes, all guests must complete a mandatory digital check-in prior to arrival. This includes submitting a valid ID, completing a registration form, and providing a credit/debit card for a security deposit. This secure process is required to validate your reservation and receive check-in instructions. Failure to complete it may result in denied access without refund.

We're available by message throughout your stay, for a recommendation, a question about the apartment, or anything that comes up. We answer quickly and without formalities. If you'd rather be left alone, we'll leave you alone.
