About this house rental
Welcome to Weekend at Kizas, a lakefront retreat on beautiful Kerr Reserevoir. Created for long lake days and time together, Kizas has room for family and friends to spread out, unwind, and make memories.
Enjoy this new build with a private dock, deck & grill, or head downstairs for ping pong, games and movie nights with popcorn.
The main level includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, and primary suite. The open layout makes it easy for everyone to spend time together, whether you’re cooking dinner, gathering around the table, or relaxing in the living room. The deck connects directly to the main living area, creating a large indoor/outdoor space overlooking the cove.
Enjoy your morning coffee outside, grill dinner after a day on the lake, or simply settle in and enjoy the view.

The basement is one of our favorite spaces in the house and where memories are made after lake days or when rainy weather keeps everyone inside. The large basement living and game area includes:
Comfortable seating
75" TV for movie nights or big games
Ping pong table
Game table
Wet bar
Second full-size refrigerator
Sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space
OUTDOOR AMENITIES & NOTES:
-Path from the house leads directly to our private dock in a quiet cove.
-Dedicated community dock slip approximately a 4-minute walk away
-Two kayaks included for guest use
-Plenty of on-site parking for boats and trailers
-Quiet cove for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, and enjoying the wildlife
Lake Water Levels:
Kerr Lake is a flood control reservoir, and water levels will naturally fluctuate throughout the year. At normal height/full pool (300ft), the water depth at the end of our private dock is approximately 5 ft deep, but this can change depending on lake conditions. If you’re bringing a boat for your stay, we recommend checking current lake levels before your trip.
Boating:
Our private dock can accommodate up to two boats, and guests will also have access to our community dock slip that is a 4-minute walk from the house. There is plenty of parking for boats and trailers on-site, that nearest boat ramp is a quick 10 minute drive away at the Buffalo Creek Boat Ramp.
Nearby Activities:
You don’t have to go far to explore.
Two local wineries are within about a mile of the house
A local produce stands and fall pumpkin patch and corn maze.
