If you’re looking for a clean, cutely decorated campervan with everything you need for a road trip, this is it. She’s a 2015 ProMaster that was lovingly home-built, not a high-end professional conversion, so think cozy and colorful rather than sleek and luxury.
I like to be comfortable when I travel and I love to cook so my van's got a brand new tempur-pedic mattress, a hugeeee (33 gallons) water tank for washing dishes and outdoor showers, a big nice sink in a custom built island, and cookware. It's got an outdoor shower head off the back which is THE BEST for rinsing off if you're staying somewhere private, hiking, want to wash your feet, etc. The van was designed for storage so there's a good amount of space in the back for suitcases, camping gear, etc. It's well maintained so it's sturdy and reliable. It’s got solid power and solar, and with everyday use (lights, phones, laptops, fridge) it can run off-grid for several days without direct sunlight and pretty much indefinitely with sunlight. Heavier use, like working all day on the Starlink, runs best with a campsite electric hookup. At the end of the day, I got it for myself (a single woman who was traveling) so I wanted something cushy with as many amenities as possible, while still being stealth enough to drive in cities and park in normal parking spots. Have fun in it! And tell me about your adventures :)
More info:
Off-grid ready: lithium batteries, solar, and Starlink Wi-Fi. For full days of remote work, plan to stay at campsites with electric hookups as running the Starlink for hours takes a good amount of power.
