Situated in Sheringham, this attractive house for $222 per night is a great choice for your next break. Crab Cottage is the perfect venue for a family beach holiday in Sheringham. Located on a quiet road in East Sheringham, it’s a three-minute walk to the beach, and a mere five minutes to Sheringham town centre – known for its old-fashioned seaside atmosphere and thriving independent shops, encompassing everything from traditional sweet shops to fish’n’chips, penny arcades, cafés, and even a working steam railway! Crab Cottage has recently been redecorated, and we’ve done our best to think of everything you could wish for on your family holiday. There is a small, enclosed garden at the back of the house with excellent sea views (and it’s sheltered – perfect for barbecues!), off-street parking for two cars, an open-plan living/dining area, and a separate kitchen. There’s even a gas fire and a few board games, making this a great choice for cosy winter breaks as well as summer holidays. We did have a really good time the location is excellent and we will probably book again. The only negative would be that both the front and back garden were overgrown and needed cutting back / mowing. Also the beds in the second bedroom had memory foam mattresses which made the bed hard and uncomfortable, there were only 2 of us sand we needed a room each so we put two mattresses on one bed which was much better. Apart from that a really nice property.

The property is everything it says in the details and more. We were there for a long weekend with members of our family, and other family members were in another cottage which was less than five minutes away. It was also very well priced. We will definitely try to use it again.

There were only 2 of us but we found the house comfortable and well equipped. The location was great and we only used our car once in 4 days. Easy access to the beach and coastal walk and to the centre of town. Good eateries nearby. Loved the conservatory. Other bedrooms a bit small for adults.

Amazing cottage fully equipped with everything you need. Spacious garden with stunning sea view. Great location few minutes walk to town centre and amenities. Beach just around the corner . Sheringham is a gem .We enjoyed very much our stay .The owner of the property kind and helpfull. Thanks so much for a brilliant holiday. The cottage was fabulous and is a perfect location for the beach right there, plus easy 5 min walk to the high street; which had everything you might possibly need.

well equipped property, home from home. beds were really comfy and sofa was good for me, being quite a bit shorter than my husband! He needed a cushion to support his head when watching a film. But that is all. garden is fully enclosed. there are 2 gates in the back garden that are about 3'6" high so be aware if your dogs would jump them.

Excellent location, parking space and good wifi and TV. Very good kitchen facilities only Oven was difficult to operate. I am sure that could be corrected. Definitely recommend CRAB cottage.

Great, very well equipped home from home holiday home. Lovely views from the garden and back bedroom and parking was a real plus. Location is perfect for walking on the beach, in land paths around the bump and it's a very short stroll into the village for cafés, bars and shops.

Amazing location for our Easter break for our family of five plus doggie. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. A few minor faults with the property (fed back to the host) but not too much of an issue for the short stay and we were mostly out and about anyway! Will be back!

This is a beautifully designed house for comfort and practical living with easy access to the sea and shops and transport to other sites. It was a lovely place to stay for two 70plus women but we felt it would be a good place for a family. Lovely conservatory, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sadly I found the VRBO emails intrusive and unclear and much too plentiful for comfort.VRBO sent emails each day which were repetitive and unnecessary!!

Beautiful views, light bright and airy. I was staying there with my sister and her boyfriend and my husband. My mother lives in Sheringham and we decided to host a surprise party for her. Lots of open space for us all to sit, and the weather stayed sunny too so we can sit in the garden. A great location, central to the Beeston Bump and to all amenities in the high street.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Local to everything and such a homely house. Walkable, within 5 minutes to the town, beach and local amenities. I’ve been visiting North Norfolk and Sheringham for Decades but never stayed in this part of the town. Loved it and have booked again for 2023.

The property and outside areas are in need of some TLC. The photo of the front of the property may have looked like this a few years ago but not today. Having no carpet on the stairs makes it very noisy and not homely, can’t understand why as no dogs are allowed upstairs so no hair. The bag in the vacuum cleaner was filled to the brim with no spare. Generally well equipped and comfortable, just needs attention to tired areas mainly upstairs. Great location and very peaceful, I would stay again.

Great location a few mins walk to the beach. House was good and fully equipped however the shower was just a trickle and even broke down when we were there. The owner did pop round to fix it. Bathroom a bit tired and a few cobwebs everywhere but overall a good place to stay.
