Never again

The hotel had air conditioning.

3 star hotel priced like 5+star. Typical for Banff hotels. Ridiculous!! Located near the end of Banff Ave, about the furthest from center city. Facility old and worn out.

Superb

Room was spacious. Beds were really comfortable. There was a deck overlooking the main street, which was lovely to soak up the afternoon sun.

It was okay

The stairs to the bedroom, and no bathroom upstairs. Somebody comes in our room, when we never wanted our room clean. Took the house coat never replaced it. One level would be better.

Pleasant

Well, didn't appreciate cleaning staff knocking at 9:30 a.m asking to clean room. When told "we're leaving today", cleaning staff came back again at 10:30 a.m, different person knocked announced she was cleaning staff and proceeded to walk into room. Thank goodness I had the double lock on. We were under the impression check out is at 11. Other than that, stay was pleasant.

Very nice rooms. Clean, comfortable and room was always replenished and cleaned. Pool, hot tub nice.

I think it was a very lovely hotel and comfortable stay. I just think that the breakfast should have been included with the stay.

The hotel didn’t include free breakfast.

great stay other than the random couple fight late at night

was a really cool layout and loft room was great

everything was great other than the couple staying in the room beside us had a huge fight at about 3am waking us up with slamming doors and screaming .

Lots of potential.

Having separate rooms is nice. Having the vanity separate from the shower definitely cuts down on prep time due to having no moisture on the mirror when trying to get ready.

Light switched were behind the TV and not easily accessible. The feel and decore didn't match the potential of the propert and the layout.

Charltons Banff was a great place to stay with kind staff, great location and well kept establishments!

The staff were very kind and open to offer suggestions on where to eat etc. the pool is very well kept and towels always stocked if it gets low. the room was very neat, warm and comfortable and loved the full size bath tub with separate shower!

a pool and hot tub is nice . is close i downtown . nice parking lot .

the steam room is dangerous ,is not good how they build . and the stairs is dangerous too. i wake up in the morning to go washroom i fall in the stairs . they build is not safe .and the pool is to early to close never enjoy to stay. not really good to stay.

Lovely stay very clean

Room was charming staff were friendly and non intrusive

Would like higher quality toilet paper. Rooms are quite thin people beside us had a get together we could hear.

Extremely disappointed in a hotel that clearly doesn’t care about a guests stay.

the staff was very friendly and the pool was nice

our room door/lock was broken our entire stay, the layout of room wasn’t very comfortable and the hotel was not the cleanest, laundry piled in hallways for days. each day we would talk to front desk about any grievances to no avail.

Parking was available, good sized room, quiet, very comfortable! :)

We noticed the mattress only had a mattress protector and no fitted sheet. So we just slept on top of the top sheet. We also noticed that the main light didn’t work so we just used the lamps.

good location, central enough without being loud. liked having the kitchenette.

kitchenette suite was a bit of an odd set up with kitchenette separating the two bedrooms.

Close enough to the action

This property is well located in the heart of Banff. It is about a 10 minute walk to the very centre of things. There is plenty of parking which is a bonus in Banff. We had a kitchen room which had 2 sleeping areas on either side of the kitchen. The room was clean and relatively quiet.

Front desk staff were seemingly new at their jobs so some simple things like splitting the bill into two were not possible. This is likely a sign of the times with staffing being very tight. Other requests were handled pleasantly.
