Breakfast was excellent. Rod is a bottomless source of information and is very helpful with respect to little known details of the town. This historic house is so well renovated and kept that we felt we were in the historical period.
Our rooms were not freshened up, beds were not made after we slept, which I found disappointing. I always look forward to tidied up bed and bathroom when travelling because it isn’t me doing it. For the price of the rooms, we expected this little luxury.

We loved the beautiful dining room and having breakfast with the other guests. The food was excellent and so nicely presented.
The weather was very warm and so was our room. Without the fan provided I could not have stayed in the room.

paintings throughout, in a peaceful and lovely location.
Friendly and welcoming hosts, delicious breakfasts and a cosy sitting room for guests too.

a beautiful heritage house in a great location in Annapolis Royal
Susan prepared an excellent breakfast for us.
tea/coffee making facilities would have been welcome as we always enjoy a cup of tea on arrival after a journey and before going to bed. Nevertheless this did not detract from our stay as we were only there for one night.
