I really enjoyed the natural beauty surrounding the lodge, especially watching the salmon swimming upstream from the dining room.
I loved the quietness at night outside that you can enjoy the natural sounds of the water and also the clear skies that you can see the stars.
The food was amazing.

The staff and food were excellent. The staff made us very welcome and were professional, courteous, and very friendly & helpful.
Apparently, this facility was purchased from the Nova Scotia Government, and the new owner was supposed to invest $1 million in updates. We didn't see any evidence of this during our stay. Some areas of the facility should be updated; however, we understand that we're only staying for a short period of time and not buying the place!

Quiet location with river view . Restaurant had best seafood chowder in Nova Scotia !!
The whole place is a bit past its best . It needs investment quickly . The staff tries to keep it going as well as they can . Compliments .

Personnel d'accueil agréable et compréhensif
Quel désappointement . J'avais choisi cet hôtel pour clôturer notre séjour d'itinérance de 3 semaines . Les photos sur Booking ou autres sites sont bien loin de la réalité. Nous avons eu une chambre en bout d'allée, près de la route ( chambre accès personne mobilité réduite) soit ! Ménage approximatif, chambre défraîchie, aucun rangement, ni penderie . 2 vieux fauteuils, un frigidaire bruyant et une ventilation qui s'est déclenchée toute la nuit. Pour la piscine, alors 2ème déception. Je n'avais jamais vu un bassin aussi sale . Les carreaux de la piscine étaient verts de grasse . Non pas possible de payer 210€ pur cette prestation.
