It was great, staff is super friendly and it’s easy to connect with other people. It’s evident they put an effort to keep the guests entertained.

Front desk staff are super friendly and helpful-! Facilities in generally very clean and well managed exceeding my expectations; I have been in quite a bit of accommodations in different countries.
Just wish you a luck to meet thoughtful roommates. That would be the only thing that can change your experience at Wicked hostel.
Make sure you know what street to avoid as there are many people who are high on drugs. It is more likely issue abouf Calgary not specifically about this hostel.

Very reasonable. Staff were amazing, super friendly and prompt with check-ins even considering it was Stampede. Location is excellent with the Stampede only a short walk away. I would stay again for sure.
My only issue is that the room I was in was in the basement which meant no windows so no light and it felt a little dingy. The facilities on this floor were broken so had to keep going upstairs which was a small pain but I put these issues down to it being a new building and a few problems are expected at first opening.

Lovely staff, comfy beds, reasonably clean
Room to leave luggage.
Not quite finished yet! I am surprised there are reviews from any time before this month.
Room keys weren't working and some bunk beds didn't have ladders attached yet. Only a small lock box by the bed, no under bed box for luggage ect.
Hallways and luggage rooms, plus reception had not finished being built yet.
Because of the keys check-in took over an hour. Check out was prompt and efficient though
Honestly this would have been fine if the price was a little lower but as the room cost $106, so would have wanted a bit less stress for the price.
