Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

Breakfast was good and the location.

My bed was very uncomfortable.

Clean environment, very friendly staff, easy access to all amenities. The lobby was welcoming and offered a comfortable space to sit while not in your room with an adjacent coffee shop. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a wonderful balcony to take a break or to enjoy tea or coffee while enjoying the ocean view. Chef at the Atlantic Grille was very accommodating with food allergy requests and replacements. Spent an early afternoon enjoying the onsite lazy river, and an afternoon visit to a local state park just miles away. Local grocery store is under a mile away.

Maybe just me but maybe a quick guided tour would have been helpful, although I did not access the website for the resort online. I noticed some resorts have a channel up on the TV to access all aspects of the resort. Some minor safety issues with 1 elevator non functional and some areas where wet accessing rooms might need extra signage. Also for elderly may need to provide some extra lighting or reflective tape in darkened corners when going from light to dark areas around the hotel. Minor carpet issues at lower entrances of the main lodge when opening and closing doors to access elevators from parking area.

It was v nice to stay there.

A lot of stuff to do and right on the beach

No housekeeping in the villas which is strange because it was $5k for a week stay. I had to find a housekeeper to restock necessities. Last time I stayed here it was run by salamander hospitality and it was significantly better
