Not pleasant

Really, nothing

We arrived around 7pm and went up to our room. As you open the door, it smelled strongly like mold. Walking into the room, the carpet was saturated with water, carpet squishing and the smoke detector was chirping. Called the front desk, granted he was very busy, he stated he would come up to fix battery in the smoke detector but we requested another room due to strong mold smell and water on floor. He stated they didn’t have any available rooms, then eventually moved us to another room. That room was ok but then when we went to shower, water was cold- absolutely NO hot water even after running for 10 minutes. Will not stay there again.

Was a perfect stop for my short stay.

The location was great, North of Birmingham just off I-65. Plenty of restaurants nearby, although the Chilis across the street left much to be desired. Enough parking. Room was clean and looked updated. Had a nice design and lighting. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and good water pressure/temp. Front desk personnel very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfy. TV functioned well with plenty of cable channels.

The latch on the bathroom door was broken. Appreciated the breakfast, plenty of choices, but the eggs were obviously powdered and were dry and crumbly. The gravy appeared to be from a mix also. But, for the value everything was fine. Good biscuits!

Exceptional stay!

Everything! It was clean, comfortable beds! The location was great. The rooms were larger than most, easy to bring luggage in and out. The breakfast was very good!

Location, comfortable beds and clean towels

no hot water, dirty bathroom (walls, floors, previous tenant’s used soap, missing cabinet panel), AC unit and mini fridge both sounded like they had a dying compressor. Nobody working desk at departure to help with questions

Get rid of the mold in the rooms. Room 102 had mold on ceiling, hairs & stains on bedding, bugs in bathroom.

Dirty, gross room. They should have paid me to stay!

The breakfast was cold. There was a cold water dispenser that was empty. Yogurt was frozen. The parking was fine but people lurking around the lot made me feel not secure. Location was where we wanted to continue our trip

Everything! No room number on the room. Hair all over the bathroom, dirty, dirty, dirty room. Checked for bed bugs. Cleaned before using the bathroom. TV didn’t work because there was an c-box connected. Flashing, flickering lights all over the room, including outlets that didn’t work. Mud on the bathroom floor. Didn’t take off my shoes to walk across the floor because there was trash on the floor when we walked in

at the price being charged I would not stay again

shower water hookup was backward. room door didn't close & latch without my help. tile at entrance had tape sticking. paint on the furniture & floor. chair upholstery was wretched

A clean convenient place to stay.

Our room required only a short walk. The breakfast was hot, varied, and tasty. The facility was within walking distance of restaurants.

Check in clerk was disinterested. We had to park in the back of the facility, and there was no rear entry point of which I was aware.

Breakfast stop too early price change when I got there room was not clean had to change rooms because of the smell of paint
