Great breakfast, updated hotel, close to Local Goat and convenience of interstate traveling made it our choice. Also offers additional amenities.
I prepaid our family room HERE ON BOOKING.com AND CONTACTED the hotel notifying we would arrive at different times but unfortunately said family member arrived prior to me AND WAS CHARGED IN FULL A SECOND TIME BY THE HOTEL. She was told her card was necessary to be on hold for the keys and possible incidentals… AND WOULD NOT BE CHARGED.
This took several days for the hotel to correct. Thankfully Booking.com was great to assist and get them in action. I do wonder how often this hotel practice occurs…
In addition, we arrived a party of 6 as paid and confirmed, no linens or pillows for the pull out and the staff seemed put out and even expressed they weren’t allowed to “make” the bed. An apparent manager who said nothing and a minimally skilled clerk were present.
