It is in the middle of the Mesa Verde National Park and we wanted to get up early to get as many tours in as possible in one day. There's no other hotel/motel that makes it so easy. And it had a good restaurant.
Don't have anything negative to mention. We loved the Ranger tours, though it was a bit hotter than we expected.

The stars were fabulous at night. The location to our hikes was easy.
The ice machine was broken. The patio chairs were rotting.

Great location inside the park and the rooms.eith a view really are a great view.
The bathroom amenities feel dated and cheap and the transom window above the door lets in a lot of light all night long.
