Location was just OK

Bed was uncomfortable and hard. No room service where the booking states it has room service as well as online. False. Slow with service. Will not stay here again. Not worth $300/night

Que no informen desde el inicio que el Internet debe pagarse. Que luego de dos días que nos fuimos, no liberen el cupo de la tarjeta, es la hora que no se cuanto es el cobro final.

La atencion de carmen en el restaurante fue la experiencia positiva.

We've stayed at the Renaissance several times. We will not stay there again.

The location is ideal for cruising out of Port Everglades. Check in staff were pleasant and efficient. Room was large however was dark and a bit dated.

Breakfast was terrible. We were given a table and told that a waiter would be right with us. We waited for ten minutes before the waiter arrived even though he saw us sitting there. When he finally approached us he said it was too late to order breakfast and we would need to choose food from the buffet. The buffet was picked over, no longer eatable (oatmeal was cold) etc. We should not have been charged such an exorbitant rate for that leftover disgusting food.

Poor and would never recommend.

The room smelled very musty and my child’s started to have allergic reactions. There was mold inside the picture above the toliet and the spa pool water was green.

A little pricey but otherwise great. Perfect location for my needs.

Checking in was super easy and fast. Hotel lobby bar service friendly and efficient!

Nice location near the ferry port.

Location was quite close to the ferry port although not a walkable distance.

The checkin line was exceptionally long.

Location to cruise terminal was the only reason we stayed.

Breakfast buffet inadequate, not enough choice not enough staff. Not offered a menu until we had eaten.

Very disappointing!

Close to the cruise port

Hotel is very tired!! One elevated was not working resulting in us using the SERVICE ELEVATOR or waiting a ridiculous amount of time waiting for the one and only working elevator for the whole hotel to come. The service elevate is Not meant for hotel guests!! Very run down area Floors were dirty tile broken! Our room…. Chaise lounge was soiled with stains, white sheets had been washed but the stains didn’t come out, they used them on our bed anyway. No water pressure in the bathroom sink! Had to use the tub faucet to wash my face and to fill up a glass of water to brush my teeth!! At 6:00 p.m. I was not able to buy a cup of coffee in the bar area/restaurant or the front desk! They replied they only have coffee in the morning! This is a hotel we have stayed at few times pre Covid… about 5 years ago!! Cannot believe the decline. We will not stay here again!

Overall positive. Will probably stay again if we’re on another cruise out of FLL.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, services and the cruise port.

Could use a little refresh in the rooms.

If we had a clean, reasonably well maintained hotel near the cruise ship port we would definitely take it.

Proximity to cruise port is the best way hung about this property.

The staff and condition of the property clearly indicate that there is no competition in the cruise port area. Examples: tattered shower curtain and worn mattress pad. The property does not measure up to the standards of Renaissance Hotels.

Would highly recommend this hotel

The staff went out of their to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The location in terms of proximity to cruise port and airport is excellent. The buffet breakfast provided plenty of choice.

Comfy but mixed staff reviews

It’s attractive. The breakfast was tasty. Valet and baggage gentlemen were pleasant and pretty helpful. Front desk gals looked overwhelmed and burned out.

The staff were contacted several times to bring body wash and never did, even by the time we returned 6 days later. Same room. Same empty bottle of body wash. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

It was nice

The breakfast was good and the staff were amazing. The location is good for travelling around. The pool was lovely and lobby was lovely with lots to do.

We had a couple of issues with the room. The air con machine leaked and the carpet was soaked. Then our toilet over flowed. The staff were very keen to help but maintenance never came to help.

The location

The hotel staff were not very useful I had explained that the WiFi was not working several times and they just said that there was nothing they could do about it. Also I was charged twice and still haven’t received a refund for the charges.

Disappointing

Unfortunately soon after checking in, we noticed small bugs on the bedside table and table by the coffee pot. We immediately reported this finding and we offered a different room. We took this offer, however the discount offered for our inconvenience was approx. $50 (room was close to $300 a night). I feel this was poor customer service. Also, we were advised that an exterminator was coming to assess the bugs and we would be notified of what was found - never got any feedback.

Great beds. Less then helpful staff.

Cleanliness and appearance. The valet, Piero(?), was super nice and helpful. Staff seem stressed and/overworked.

Staff seemed mostly disinterested. I called 4 times because the body wash was empty and even stopped by the front desk and while staff was polite, it never arrived. I was given the exact same room upon return from our cruise 6days later and it was still empty. Cruise shuttle drivers were very polite.

Nice hotel walking distance from Broward County Convention Center

Clean and modern room and lobby Good A/C Pool was nice and never too crowded Ice water in the lobby Conveniently located to convention center and water taxi stop

Breakfast was only available until 10am on weekdays Lunch/dinner restaurant extremely expensive and older male bartender extremely rude Have to request housekeeping or room is not cleaned In-room coffee is disgusting In-room water bottles are tiny Shower spray was too strong and hard to keep water from spraying all over the bathroom

Great way to start a family vacation!

We stayed at Renaissance to get a cruise. They provided long term parking at a reasonable price, shuttle service (although we used a private courier to go to the port). We mostly used the swimming pool area and fully took advantage of the food and bar great service. It was a Great way to start our family vacations! Location is a plus as it is also close to the beach, restaurants and night life!

Not Much to complain about except PARKING system was expensive and the attendant was RUDE.

Able to check in early which was appreciated as we got off our cruise at 9 am . The pool was great and room was decorated nicely.

One of the beds in our room had a really thin old mattress that was not comfortable at all. Was told that the hotel was fully booked so I did not ask for another room. But the mattresses should be updated for sure.

Our pre/post stay was a good experience.

The property’s staff was welcoming and wonderful. A big shout out to Jose and Dyane in the bar area. They were outstanding, as well as your valet staff. My overall impression is the hotel rooms are tired looking; they need an updated refresh.
