The heater made noises grinding lousmd noises couldn't sleep

The heater stains on the bed tell the staff about it didn't even care. Should've been discounted foe being kept up all night.

Much better than all the negative reviews.

This place is old, but it was clean, and that's what counts. The bed was more comfortable than expected. The shower was very nice. I was not expecting the Hilton.

The free breakfast was not that great.

We had to leave and as yet have not recieved a refund on the no cancelation fee.

It was a joke. Had to go next door to another motel.For the continental breakfast .had a gallon of milk cereal was in a big bag. Bread was in a loaf. I thought I was in a homeless shealter.

Don't stay at this dive!!

It was a bed to sleep in after several hours of moving my mother to assisted living.

No heat in rooms, cockroaches in the toilet, no big light for the room. It's like an extended stay place with mostly residents not guests. My daughter's room across the parking lot had cigarette burns in her bed. My room was non smoking yet smelled like smoke. My sons room at the Coronada (part of the sands motel) had his resident next room neighbor Crystal Methany as we called her get locked out of her room 3 times in one night. They refused to shower until they bleached the entire bathroom. They left the bleach for hotel staff to use. Can not tell you how horrible this place is!! Avoid it at all costs!!!

Very good

After reading about UNclean, smelly rooms with bedbugs, I was ready to cancel. The lady at the front desk said to let her know if it wasn't very clean. The room had NO odor and was clean. The carpet is older, likely used by men who work construction, so stained. I visited at the front desk and was assured of new ownership. The breakfast room was at the place next door. Waffles, cereal, toast or bagels, fruit juice, milk and coffee were available.

The heater fan was a bit noisy but we heated the room, turned it off and went to bed. Strangely, there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. There was one waste paper basket, but we used it just fine. The tub was clean, the vanity new.

The breakfast was decent but the room was a lot bigger then expected and the shower had a seat in it.

Sands motel double thumbs down

Not a hole lot.The rooms have been partly remodeled if the beds would of been nicer it would of been a disant stay. But below average for sure

Beds are pretty old. Rooms aren't bad..but the wrong crowd seems to get rooms here. Staff was below average but rooms were clean. Paid way to much shour be a sixty dollar a night stay max..

Comfortable & relaxing!!

Loved the fact that there was access to indoor pool & hot tub with it’s sister property.

It was great for the price & location.

I wish there were more breakfast options. The hotel next door has cleanliness issues and the options for breakfast are extremely limited.

You get what you pay for

It was one of the cheapest places I could find to stay.

Mattresses were uncomfortable, continental breakfast was just cereal and waffles and not stocked at all when we arrived to eat, the toilet paper in our room was only a partial roll so I had to go ask for more during our one night stay, and we saw a cockroach in our room

Close to the Dixie Center and food.

First day house keeping non existent. No easy assessable electrical plugs ANYWHERE in the room. The air conditioner fan speed was locked on high. The controls were also out of reach unless you were over 6’5”.
