This has got to be one of the most UNDER-RATED spots on booking. It was probably run down before as the original owner got older, but his son is running it now and renovating everything. Definitely still has an old feel, but I had a brand new bed (and mattress), tv, furniture, toilet and shower. Brand new everything that I actually used. Great price, friendly staff, ample parking.
I should have stayed longer.

The location of the hotel was good. We were able to drive anywhere downtown within minutes even with Labor Day traffic. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room and hallway was clean and quiet. We loved the use of the deodorant soap.
The bed could have been more comfortable. The shower could have been a little cleaner, but everything else was well cleaned.

Staff was friendly, room was very clean. I was upgraded to an apartment suite which was lovely. I was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The location is an easy walking distance to the downtown area and lake.
