Geneva Wells Inn

I really liked the private entrance and just being able to walk into my room like that, it was very convenient. The layout of the room was really nice and quite big, the large bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean and I had respectful neighbors and a nice quiet room and atmosphere that other than something that happened the last Day I was there! I loved the fact that I was able to have a full Kitchenette/fully stocked Kitchen area that included everything that I could possibly need and even more, to make, or cook/microwave meals, since I was up there for almost a Week for work, got back late and needed that option and convenience! The pool seemed real nice, but I unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use it and the atmosphere and nature surrounding the Inn was very nice and inviting! Staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive and I definitely enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again if ever in the area for a period of time again and needing a place to stay!

As much as I genuinely liked having the private entrance and the convenience of it, I didn’t like the fact that some other people around me weren’t just as respectful of my privacy, space and needs! The last Day I was staying there I wanted some extra sleep after late Nights of working and having the advantage and opportunity to do so before I had to leave for Home and get back on the road?! Unfortunately, some people just down from me had no consideration for others and let their kids/grandkids run up and down the walkway connecting all the rooms, quite early in the morning, allowing the kids to scream, yell, fight and just in general, cause a disruption! I don’t have a problem with kids being kids, but first of all, they could’ve gotten hurt, they could’ve ran into my door, even busted through it when I was trying to get some much needed sleep, etc.! They were wet and had been in the pool and so the walkway was nice and wet too, which was not good if someone was trying to walk there, or if I had needed to leave, or go to my car, etc! Also, the first night I stayed there, the TV went out late at night and I called the front desk and they told me there was nothing they could do until the morning! That was quite upsetting after a long Day of working and just wanting to relax and watch some TV, so that was definitely disappointing! It turned out the next day it was the fault of Spectrum TV, who was their carrier, but still, it’s too bad the place couldn’t have done anything about it, or even me a credit for the inconvenience, or something and to me, though late, it was their responsibility to find a solution, or take care of it, not mine! The other thing was, it would’ve been nice to have a restaurant, vending machine, even just an ice machine on the premises for other options, but it was fine having the independence of not being able to do that, though it would have been nice having that extra amenity, if possible!

The building itself needs to be painted and cleaned up. The interior rooms are nicer than the exterior of the building.
