Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Muskegon, MI

Hotel was very easy to find and access and the check in/check out process was quick and painless. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice as well; huge sink, nice shower-head and very well ventilated which is rare in a hotel bathroom! The indoor pool area was very nice as well; the setup with the hot tub being attached to the pool was very nice!

The room itself was pretty clean but could have been better; the sheets had some large old stains on one side of the bed which is understandable that it happens but with that much maybe they should have been thrown away and replaced. The furniture in the bedroom and the shower door were pretty scuffed and had large chunks broken off in places. The bathroom was mostly clean, but there was some hair in the corners of the shower. The breakfast was okay but not great; small variety of options and the hot food wasn’t kept super warm. Also the utensils were mostly empty so we had to get creative with eating our food.

Good for the price.

There was no elevator. The checkout person didn't explain this. I parked at a door closer to my side of the hotel and wandered the halls with a 3 and 5 year old and 5 bags looking for an elevator until finally concluding there wasn't one and shlepping everyone up the stairs. This needs to be made more clear in the description of the hotel, each individual room and at check-in. Even people with no official disability have reasons why they need a heads up about having to do stairs.

I LOVED Fran and the entire dront desk staff. They were all so welcoming and accomodating. They were also very compassionate considering I was there as a guest while my Father In Law was a patient in the nearby hospital. Fran worked with me to make sure I had a room when I had to extend my stay and just took care of things for me so I could focus in my family.

The hallways smelled like weed. But hey, it's Michigan... everywhere smells like weed.

It was clean. The night guy was helpful with the laundry facilities and pleasant

The guy that worked there during the daytime that was trying to use our bathroom for 5 dollars after our cards stop working and him and his friend by us.In and then we went to the front desk reported him and the the lady running, it said he was probably joking.It was very suspicious to us and felt unsafe
