Front staff were excellent. SHILO was friendly, engaging and offered the history of the building and suggestions for Monarch dinner entrees.
Oooops, toilet was clogged.neither of us had used it yet. Body wash was empty in shower. I informed front desk.

The location was great. It was clean and stylish.
We arranged an airport pick up. It didn’t arrive so we had to get a taxi from the airport. I tried calling the hotel several times but no answer. When we arrived to check in I asked about the pick up and was told that the valet who was working today couldn’t drive so they didn’t come.
There was no communication, they had my contact details so could have called me. The lady on reception wasn’t very friendly. The room was booked for 3 adults but there were only 2 cups, 2 bottles of water.

The atmosphere and vibe of the older building. The room itself was clean. And the bartender was really sweet!
Breakfast was not included, which we knew about. But for $180 dollars a night, you’d think they would offer a breakfast. The night staff weren’t very outgoing, the front desk attendant didn’t explain much about the amenities throughout the hotel. She was very monotone, no personality and didn’t seemed thrilled to be working. But on a lighter note, the staff in the morning were absolutely amazing!
