Enjoyable Stay with no surprises

Front desk staff was very friendly!!

The location is great!!! Easy to get where you want to go!

The pool is pretty small. There is also no hot tub.

Having a non refundable stay be canceled was unthinkable.

Infortunately they overbooked and when we arrived with a prepaid receipt we were told that our stay had been cancelled. We eventually got a voucher for another hotel but the hotel didn’t accept the voucher that night. We paid for the new hotel room. In the morning after returning to the Hampton inn we were told the new hotel nights bill would be covered. We hope to receive a refund. It was a mess and we were tired.

Poor

Good connection to Ameristar Casino.

Staff over charged me, didn't fix it. Told me the service charges (2) would fall off when I left. I asked them to call the manager and she could fix it. They called her, she was supposed to come in the next day to fix it and didn't. I asked them to have her call me, she didn't. Nothing was done to fix the situation. The toilet was loose. Had to have maintenance come and work on it. Old used tissue stuck in the tissue box. When I complained they just said they would write it down, but didn't. I will nit stay here again! I would like a refund!

It was great.

It was great location by the zoo and very clean. The free breakfast was good too.

The pool area was very hot and needed more outside sitting area by the pool.

I had a good stay.

Breakfast was great. The hotel is super close to the zoo and children’s museum

That the rules for your pool were not followed one night maybe cause of short staffed not sure there was lots of kids in pool not supervised by an adult when the sign says anyone under 14yrs old needs to have a parent.

It says overall nice! Few minor things

Staff was friendly, welcoming! Great location that was easy to find and access. Loved the River view.

Our toilet was running all night and tv didn’t work but we were too tired to address the issue

Needs improvement

Liked the variety of items they offered for breakfast. Beds were comfortable.

The bathroom sink would not drain, the door had something splattered all over. was just not very clean in general, the room lighting was very dim not good for applying make up. no hot tub.

My employees never stay again there

The manager was rude. We got there and they said our reservation was canceled 3 days prior. But I got text the day before that said reservation was confirmed. The manager was rude and basically had attitude, Oh well nothing available so leave.

The staff helped out tremendously with the issue I had with my card and I am so grateful!

The staff went above and beyond when my card wasn’t working and when my kids spilled water from the cooler. The staff was super nice to my 4 kids. The pool was awesome. It was open late so we were able to swim after we got back from visiting family.

The kids found an m&m and a cough drop under the bed so checking underneath the bed would be a good idea especially when children will be using the room.

Hampton Inn is always clean and comfy. Usually a good value too.

Breakfasts at these hotels seems to be the normal stuff for hotels so it gets boring when traveling for 2-3 weeks at a time and staying at hotels.

Wonderful Stay

We have stayed in motels for the last half a month. I always shoot for Hamptons, but the prices have been too high for us being on an extended trip. We treated ourselves last night, and I am glad we did! Everything about the room is well thought out and comfortable/very nice. I liked the ability to walk to the casino. Breakfast this morning was extremely good and different from the rest! River view was awesome.

Can't think of a thing.
