Good location for visiting Grand Canyon. Food in restaurant was good. Cute atmosphere.
The person who greeted us on arrival was unfriendly & disinterested to the point of being rude. However the lady who served us our dinner was very helpful and welcoming.
The shower did not work properly- very little water and kept going off.

Everything I had expected for a little ranch. Staff were friendly, rooms quaint for what I was expecting for being a little ranch. Food was pricy but very good.

I stumbled across the Grand Canyon Western Ranch whilst looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the GC and knew immediately that my family would love it and it did not disappoint.
Our whole stay was fantastic.
From the moment we arranged all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the biggest cabin, which was cosy but plenty big enough for four adults. both breakfast and dinner were delicious and very reasonable priced.
Ending the night sat by the camp fire with the other guests, singing along with Casey and hearing about the ranches history was a delight, even my 21 year old son was described the evening as fascinating.
I thoroughly recommend the shooting, I’d never held a gun in my life, and within a few minutes of teaching I was hitting the targets.
We only stayed one night and I wish I’d of booked a second. This was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday and I can’t recommend the ranch enough.

People are genuine, the location is awesome, and everything just feels authentic and down home. This is our second stay here. If you are looking for physical comfort, you are better off staying in Las Vegas. If you want a place where you soul can rest for a while, this place can't be beat. We have met people from Australia, France, Germany and many places in the world. Everyone seemed relaxed and at ease around the campfire. Growing up, I was a fan of Western novels, so I was excited to learn that Louis L'Amour, may have stayed in an old rock cabin on the property.
We went during the off-season (December) and everyone had time to talk and help in any way possible. I don't know how it is like during the summer, where I assume they are a whole lot busier.
Our cabin had only one electrical outlet near the head of the bed and it had one of the grey outdoor outlet covers. I had to borrow a surge protector since my sleep machine would not fit into recessed receptacle.

The staff was absolutely amazing & welcoming from the beginning of the trip to the end. It is very clear they care about your overall experience & the memories made while on vacation….from the young to the old.
Everything was wonderful!

Very unique and interesting place to stay . Nothing is around this Ranch . Very inhospitable landscape , Desert, Cactus , Hot , Dry …. BUT … that’s what you’re there for … desert sky , authentic experience, great staff , quiet horses ( our family went in an overnight camp ), had an absolutely memorable experience with Cowboy John . Slept outside under the stars snd not in the tents .
Back at the ranch the kids had a great time after dinner singing with Cowboy Casey 👍👍👍👍👍
Some crazy sharp 3 cornered jacks ( weeds ). Do not ditto on these buggers 😂😂😂

The ranch is so rustically charming. Surrounded by the mountains with animals wandering around freely you relax as soon as you arrive. The staff are so lovely and you felt welcome from the start. Casey, the singing cowboy, was a sweetheart! He entertained us and gave us tips on where to go, always so happy and kind.
I loved it there!
Free tea and coffee! Yay!
The single beds in our cabin were uncomfortable. The springs were poking through.
The double bed was fine.

Perfect all round from the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings to singing round the camp fire and toasting marshmallows for Smores. Also an amazing horse riding experience. A huge thanks for everything!

Location was great, close to the canyon. Tents had AC.
Tents were very military style, alittle disappointing. Thought it would be more luxurious for price.

Couldn't complain about anything and will recommend to friends

No internet. Really?

Amazing staff and location near Grand Canyon West rim. Campfire at night was the best, as was the entertaining Cowboy Casey and Bob. Loved lack of internet and TV. Good to live without in this beautiful wilderness. As hot as it was, our room was very cool. No crowds. No traffic. Just a sky full of stars and the sound of coyotes.
Better water pressure needed in shower, bathroom door that wouldn’t stay shut. Needed a chair and small table or place to sit and take off boots, etc.

Cowboy Dave and Dana were brilliant, great guys, made our stay at the ranch great fun. The campfires, the songs and Daves very bad jokes, make me smile even now.

Well, where to start! A real old western ranch with log cabins. The campfire with ArizonaCasey entertaining all the guests with stories, songs and jokes late into the night, was magical. Very nice to spent time with farm animals and walking on the property. Breakfast was excellent and provided time to chat and say goodbyes to new acquaintances.
Absolutely nothing - come to think of it :)

Arizona Casey was a great attraction to the hotel. My family and I used this hotel for a quick stay before visiting the Grand Canyon West Sky Walk, it was 15 minute drive from the resort. I would highly recommend this location due to this location and due to the many family activities that you can take part in over a few days.

Beautiful place, wonderful location. Staff was friendly but was very busy. Cowboy casey was a star.
Animals was healthy and well fed.
Outside toilet area as we stayed in the tent
Not a lot to dislike, apart from tent rooms are over priced....no kettle

The service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and helpful. they accommodated our late arrival and food allergies.
The stand alone tub was hard to use since it didnt have a shower curtain so you could use the hand shower. I have a bad hip so I was not able to sit in the tub.

The outdoor space had beautiful views. Arizona Casey made the trip. Without him and his entertainment, this venue would have been even more depressing. Everything was clean! The bonfires and s’mores every night was also a great touch!
Property itself just looked a little run down. This property could be very nice and I believe it had been at one time. Our beds were uncomfortable. The town of Meadview itself has absolutely nothing in it, therefore the only breakfast and dinner option is here at the restaurant on the ranch. The meals we had were very good, however pretty expensive. They do not offer lunch so make sure you take your own food as well! There is a claw foot tub, no shower. I understand they are going for the rustic vibe, however it is hard to get clean without an actual shower. No WiFi, no phone service. If you are looking to totally unplug, and relax and do a lot of resting then this is the place for you! Wish we would have only booked one night.
