The room and bathroom were wonderful. We loved the balcony overlooking the creek.
The breakfast was not on par with the rest of our experience. The waitress was loud. She would not let the two of us sit at a four top by the window (although there were other 4 tops available). Said she would get in trouble if we sat there and seated us away from the window. She scolded another couple who cleared dishes from a table so they could sit after waiting a while. She told them she’d get in really big trouble. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience and we did not go back.

The restaurant was very good. Short walks were convenient. Beautiful Creekside room. Charming rustic ambiance. Beautiful scenery. Many extracurricular activities were made available.

Location is beautiful, right on the creek. Great thick high quality towels and bathrobes. Nice quiet ac.
At this time it appears that they r in transition from a recent sale of the property. Staff is not trained for the “high” end resort that they advertise to be. Restaurant staff could not even find a menu to show us and menu is limited at this time. We reserved our room two days before we arrived thru booking.com after we called resort directly and were told there was a 2 night minimum and that they were booked up. The woman we spoke to was rude and totally unhelpful. We were assigned room 104, right behind the check-in desk, next to the common area restrooms and across from the bar/restaurant. We did not sleep at all from the constant noise. They did refund us the resort fee, which is the least they could do considering that the sauna did not work, no hot tub as advertised, limited dining choices and rude front desk staff.
Eventually this resort will probably work things out but until then guests will need to be patient.
