It was a nice room and welcomed stay arriving late after having to take a long detour because of a fire closure. The staff was nice and it had a great breakfast with many choices and hot food. It was also helpful that they have a 24 hr front desk which many motels in small towns do not. There was a pool but we didn't have time to use it. We would definitely stay there again.
The pet area was very small but close by and ok for an overnight stay in transit. Otherwise it was great!

The location was perfect for my visit to John Day, OR.
The breakfast was not very good. All of the breakfast cereals were sugar bombs with minimal fiber content.
The breakfast rates very poorly compared to other Best Western motels that I have visited.
