This is really the only place to stay when you visit Monte Vista. The room was spacious, the bed excellent, and the shower was good (interesting actually). The food for breakfast was better than we expected - and there was green chili too! Yum. The staff were excellent. We needed extra hangers and a plastic bag for laundry. All were delivered promptly. Such a pleasure to have such nice service.
Well, there's always something that goes wrong! There was a metal base around the bed that every time we stood next to the bed we "clanged" it very loudly. That was funny to us, but we worried that maybe the neighbors could hear it!
The other thing was that happened was a small hook fell off the bathroom door - we left it on the counter.
