All in all the staff and cleanliness/maintenance of the hotel is what will bring us back.

The staff was exceptional. So kind and helpful. The whole place seemed to be run by someone(s) who genuinely cared. It needs a facelift/update for sure but the staff does such a great job at maintaining it in its current state that it’s still very welcoming and cozy. The breakfast was simple but offered a lot of variety. The pool area was clean and did not choke you out with chemicals and the pool towels were always available at the front desk. Everything functioned as it should and we had a really great stay!

Having a later checkout time would be really accommodating, even just till noon. The prices were temporarily raised the weekend we stayed possibly due to the fact that there was a hockey tournament in town, it’s unfortunate for families that have to travel a lot to have the extra expense when the rooms are also known to go for 100 a night vs almost 200 😔

Superb

Location was excellent. Great putt putt golf course right next door. Beach within walking distance. Great restaurant Little Mexico right across the street. Breakfast was good. Excellent idea of having coffee in the hallway for anytime access.

At least there were no bed bugs

The person that was on staff the night of July 15th was such a sweetheart. She helped my mom and I a lot and I appreciate it!

I didn’t know elevators had to be an amenity. My mom is disabled and we were on the second floor. They definitely should make not having an elevator a big deal. The hotel was very outdated so I guess I should have payed attention more when booking hotels

Would definitely return, we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel for family, walking into register you could see the cleanliness and well kept . Staff was gracious and warm

The beds slid around some on their platforms but..very comfy.

For older hotel keep up nice pool and hot tub nice and front desk staff nice.

For being April in Michigan pool and hot tub in great shape . Water very good and not over chlorinated.

Watch for big pot hole in main drive but would be normal for spring in Michigan.

Overall an enjoyable stay.

Room is decent and clean. Hot tub and pool is well kept and amazing. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

I didn't like the breakfast, they barely have a selection, all I saw was bread, cereal and hard boiled egg.

I’d stay again

room was clean. smelled nice. bed was comfy. bathroom worked great. all around great room. breakfast was downstairs as they advertised. the night staff was super friendly & helpful. easy short stay!

it’s a snobby answer but it’s not as nice of a hotel I’d normally stay in. but it was the best of the bunch & id stay there again.

very nice despite other loudish guests near the room

looked very nice, comfortable bed and linens, well kept pool and hot tub

My room was near the breakfast area/coffee area and could hear absolutely everything outside the room especially at 6am

Very good

The beds are on square flat wooden boards and the corners on the end of the boards were square and the mattress didn't cover them so whenever we walked by we would bang our leg into the square corners.

Beautiful, clean, great breakfast, 24 hour super nice coffee bar and the friendliest staff ever!

Emergency phone in pool area didn't work. Neither did the lift chairs.
