Location was perfect and view from the room was beautiful. This is really the reason to come here. Room was cramped but the bed was comfortable. Fireplace was really nice and we could see the slough up close from our room. Also easy to get in and out.
I thought breakfast was available and between that and no on-site service it felt like a hostel or squatting. Level of service was too lacking.

We liked the location. It was right near the Monterey Hydrobike location. The room was unique. The view from the Sail Away room was magnificent. Our most favorite part! So smart to have huge windows to capture the full effect. Wonderful! The room had everything we needed. Would have been nice to have fridge and microwave in the room. But all of that and more was located in the dining area in the main house. The snacks in the dining area were nice. The outside deck to watch the sunset was wonderful. Very quiet place. Only saw people when we were leaving in the morning. A wonderful place!
Having digital check in only was a bit weird to us but worked out. Would be good to have a fan in the room. Room gets warm. Also would be good to be able to shower. The shower nozzle in the tub was not a good thing for us. Would have been a nice thing to have fresh fruit available in the dining area.

Location. And they tried to make the decorations attractive.
Extremely overpriced. Also, a strange and ridiculous number of requests for information, warnings about liability, and duplicate requests. Also, the couch was not made up, despite a phone call during which I was assured it would be all ready. And the message about where the linens were was incorrect- we did not find them until the next day. Not fun.
