The inn was lovely, rooms large and clean, the location great.
Self- check-in was hard and I couldnt get the doors to open. With no staff on site overnight I felt a little scared. I needed a few things but didn't want to call the emergency line.

The historical building is amazing inside and outside. The furnitures was very nice and nice Christmas decorations. The rooms are also nice
Rooms: the rooms were frozen, the temperature was 51F (11C). It took hours to get warm and we didn’t even shower because it was too cold. The heating system was very loud and it didn’t get to the bathroom. In the bathroom there was only body soap, no shampoo or body lotion.
Breakfast: worst breakfast ever (if you can call it breakfast).we had fruit and cheese platters left over, half started. It was advertised in the brochure in the room that they had assorted yogurts and cereals. There was no yogurt and we are not sure how we could eat the cereal without milk! The orange juice was left in the fridge and too cold to be drunk, as well as jams and fruits (that we had to wash ourselves) so basically breakfast was: coffee and tea, bagels and cold jams, and two types of sweets. Cereals and oats impossible to eat without milk. Ah, leftovers fruits.
Boutique hotel/b&b: we have read in the comments that they don’t consider themselves a b&b (even if outside that’s what the sign says). It is neither of them. There is lack of personal relationship to be a b&b and the beauty of the structure doesn’t compensate for the lack of quality service to be called a boutique hotel.
