We had an excellent stay in this condo and would book this unit again if we return to Kauai someday.

This condo is located on a quiet and uncrowded cliff overlooking the ocean. The unobstructed views of the ocean, sunset, and sunrise are absolutely spectacular. The owner has the condo unit stocked with all the amenities you will likely need for your stay including beach items such as chairs, towels, and snorkel equipment.

The pool was closed.

Had beautiful views and large picture windows to enjoy the views.

Towels and washcloths were clean but some were badly stained.

Great view; tired unit.

The Princeville development is beautiful with amazing landscaping. All of Princeville is very well master-planned community with amazing landscaping and roads throughout as well as challenging steep trails down to the mini-beaches below the cliffs. Spectacular bigger beaches with beach parks with guards and facilities are nearby. The unit is spectacularly placed on a high bluff with endless views of crashing waves, the wide reef and Pacific Ocean forever.

The buildings at SeaLodge are aging and in need of updating - the sidewalk coverings are worn out and the wood covered buildings look tired and worn. The unit was not equipped with boogie boards, only very minimal beach chairs and no beach umbrella. Beach towels were tired. Very plentiful cooking equipment was more than ample; flatware and plates were minimal and not of top quality. After the first day we were unable to connect our computers to the Wifi - it seems this was not a first and the unit needs a moder wireless router. Something in the unit (the dishwasher?) regularly leaked out into the kitchen floor and needed regular toweling to keep dry. Both this unit and the condo buildings need serious updating to meet expectations.

Thanks for several delightful days of afternoon snorkling, morning exploring

Easy access to a great cove/beach. Right out the door to see sunsets and sunrises. Useful interior design. Excellent interior and exterior furniture. Deli supplies 1.4miles away, easy walk. Easy drive to the Lamulani Gardens which are a must see for beautiful respectful care of our planet, to the shuttle for the Na Pali coast hike, and north beaches. Anini is my favorite!

Lawn care: mowing/edging/blowing went on for most of a day. This is NOT the host's doing but it was a day of ecologically disasterous noise. Swimming pool could have earlier hours.

Great spot on the north shore

Clear communication and instructions from host, amazing views, top amenities, safe and secure neighbourhood. Super comfy beds and lounging.

There was nothing we didn't like. It is definitely not an ultra modern apartment by any means (a little worn in parts) but had everything we needed and of course, THAT view!

The location is excellent with amazing views. My favorite spot was sitting in the small bench on the cliff edge overlooking the sea.

Exceptional

Wonderful view with local access to a beautiful beach that has great snorkling or just enjoying the hawaiian Sun. Condo had all the amenities needed for our stay. The Bed is very very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need for preparing meals.

Needs better cleaning

The ocean view from the condominium was absolutely gorgeous!

I felt the cleaning of the condominium was not completed prior to our arrival. The floors were dirty and sticky, my white socks got brown real quick at the bottom. There was a sign to not use shoes inside the condominium. The patio floor was very dirty so there it went another pair of socks. The plastic patio furniture was dirtyand could have been more comfortable. There was some brown liquid - yuk! coming out from the bottom of the toilet like the wax ring is worn out. There was some mold in the shower lining. The bed was very uncomfortable, it seems that it needs to be replaced. The kitchen is dated and needs a more detailed cleaning. I had to wash two pans with a couple of paper towels and soap because the the pans had traces of food. The oven had a stained/used Aluminum paper. A sponge was not provided. Cooking oil and pepper are not provided. It would have been fair for the nightly price that I paid to have at least some start up coffee for the next day but it was/is not provided. There was an old functioning coffee maker and filters :). It was nice to find six cold water bottles in the fridge. Many of the pictures have mold. I was looking for beach towels and I found them in the dryer which it was full of towels so I folded them all and put them away on the shelving.

Loved it.

Spectacular location. Comfortable place. Equipped with everything necessary. Love being able to walk out the patio door straight out to the cliff overlooking the ocean.

Slightly awkward floor plan, but no big deal. Basically it worked fine.

We had a great time and would return.

We had a lovely time, easy to find, comfortable, great location, good facilities, excellent view and we would return here again.

Couldn't figure out the TV remote to see the local video of scenic highlights. Too many remotes are not standardized. But, we survived.

Sweeping ocean view.

The backyard views alone are worth the stay. You won’t find such a unique proximity to sweeping ocean views at most places you might stay. Note that the property is on a cliff so you can’t walk to the water from your backyard, but the views are incredible.

The fixtures and furniture and the bed could be upgraded but it was perfectly fine .

Comfortable and unbeatable views!

This one bedroom condo had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay, with fully equipped kitchen. It’s location at the edge of an ocean bluff provides a stunning view of the ocean from all windows. Access to a nice private pool for a little break from the sandy beaches is also available.

Management has integrity, empathy and high moral ground

Princeville is of high integrity and decency. They put their guests interest above their P&L We actually did not make it to stay with Princeville. My 11 year old went to urgent care the night before for an injury and the doctor suggested not to travel . So after coming back from urgent care late at night, I started calling airlines, hotels, rental cars, travel agencies to cancel all the bookings. I am like most of the people, don't enjoy on 1-800 long phone call waits to cancel a service, that normally is not refundable. Some companies were very sympathetic for the incident, and made exceptions for full refund. Among them I especially appreciate Princeville. The gentleman on the phone did not give me any "but", "however", he immediately offered a full refund. It is a hit on their book, and they are not big companies like southwest airlines or enterprise, it is so gracious of them to put their own interest aside, and do all they can to minimize our loss. Not everyone can be so generous, and honest. The other resort we booked for 2nd half of the trip, refused to refund anything,, because their "owners need to make money", they were not even to refund the cleaning fee. It is a sharp contrast, to the generosity and decency that Princeville demonstrated. Though I have never been to Princeville, I thing highly of the people of Princeville, and I thing this matters most for a vacation resort, how they handle accident, out of norms, says more and louder than all the nice features about the resort itself. and the resort looks absolutely gorgeous on the listing. I will book with them when opportunity comes, and if there is availability, for you, book it, their people have hearts of gold.

Beautiful views, but needs some TLC

The view was beautiful.

It needs some much needed attention. The sliding screen door would not open. We located some WD40 and sprayed the wheels on the door. The threshold between the kitchen and dining area was held down with two pieces of clear mailing tape. If you tripped on it it would move. A cushion on the couch had a large hole and the pillows on the couch had a smell. The bottom of the screens looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months and dust was in the tufts on the swivel chairs. The front door is also extremely hard to close without slamming it. The owner may be unaware since they don’t live there. Whoever they use for cleaning isn’t doing a good job. We never leave negative reviews for anyone, but we wanted to let the owners know the condition of their property. I’m sure with these issues corrected it would be a fabulous place to stay. The view was exceptional and that was what we most enjoyed.

Left after 2 of 7 day rental. WORST lodging experience we have ever had on a vacation!

The View

There was nothing that gave us confidence that COVID cleaning practices had been done. Cabinets and refrigerator were full of an accumulation of past guest/owner leftover items. There were overloaded outlets and extension cords. Food stuck on silverware. Based on clothing and other items left under the bed, in cabinets and refrigerator, it appeared a resident had temporarily moved out so the unit could be rented to us. Outdoor bbq’s were old charcoal grills not profane. Badly needs an update throughout.

Very good

Spectacular view on the cliff overlooking the ocean, in a small encave of natural-looking older condo complex. Very quiet with only the sounds of crashing waves and trade winds. Very relaxing; spectacular sunrises and sunsets. No airconditioning but we never needed it due to tradewinds night and day (we were there for a week at the end of June). Kitchen was well stocked with sauces, spices, oil, sugar, flour staples as well as nice dinnerware. Several pots, pans, knives etc.

The stove was very dated and and worn out and hard to cook on seriously but okay to fry some eggs and boil water. The furniture was just worn but acceptable. Linens definitely need replacing. Relatively reasonably priced condo for the area and the only ones with Sea Lodges' fabulous views. No swimming beach. Only disappointment was with Princeville not the condo, due to there only being two restaurants open at the end of June when we were there. Otherwise,there was about a 45 minute wait in line to get to Hanelei where there were several eating options.

The neighbors are beautiful very friendly the scenic view left me speechless

Our car reservation was canceled and there's no Uber or Lyft drivers that come out this way very often made grocery shopping and getting around really difficult but the sealodge itself was absolutely fantastic

I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location for north Kauai. Beautiful setting. Kitchen extremely well equipped and there are many other little thoughtful touches of things one might need.

The living room furniture was not the most comfortable.
