Convenient and great value but the room amenities need improvement.

My shower was barely warm every day and none of my USB ports worked for charging which was frustrating.

Good except the breakfast situation and the night front desk person, Brandon's, bad attitude.

Rooms were nice and clean, staff was helpful and polite (except night front desk person Brandon), location was good

All other hotels on our trip had some form of complimentary breakfast. My booking paperwork stated that we would receive a breakfast for $10.00 which was interpreted by the manager as $10.00 off of the total bill of extremely inflated pricing. We ended up getting a pastry and a drink for around $12.00 which cost me $2.00 after my discount of $10.00 and then got breakfast somewhere else for a lot less money even with that discount. The people running that food service had no idea what they were doing regarding the discount or regarding serving food , although they were very polite.

Great staff, clean room, and great location.

Location is across the street from the Delta Center, which was perfect since we were attending a concert there during our stay.

The AC unit in our room didn’t seem to work properly. It was a little hard to sleep because it felt too warm in our room.

No Breakfast Buffet served for guests for such a nice upgraded hotel so we checked out and went to IHop 4min away. It was OK

Very beautiful facility

I felt very inconvenienced during out stay. Specifically chose this hotel for the indoor pool which was closed. We had to go next door, wait to get another card which was a hassle and the pool was outdoor in the heat and sun. The key cards worked after swiping them 5 or 6 times every time to enter our room and I was so over it.

Good

Food limited and expensive. We were unaware that housekeeping was only on request. Room was very nice. Location was perfect. Hotel does not take pets despite pet friendly sites saying they do.

It was a perfect location for the concert, Expected more

The room was clean and it was a beautiful bed. The bathroom was very clean. Big plus! That was amazing

The parking was horrible. The signs showing how to get to the lobby from the parking lot were nonexistent from the elevator we got off from. Stains along the carpet as you are going toward the back elevator. For being a Marriott, we expected a lot more. The Bistro had a small menu, not much on it.

Right across from Vivint Arena. The bathroom was clean and it get dark in the room when it’s time to sleep.

Bed Sheets were scratchy and pillows aren’t very comfortable. Not impressed with calling our room a King “suite”. It was just as big as a normal room. You have to pay for breakfast at $15/person

Best of Downtown SLC

I love this hotel and its proximity to things we like to do in downtown SLC! The staff are always wonderful, and the hotel is very clean. It's a breeze to use the parking garage and be back in the lobby in no time. It has a great layout!

Our room on this particular stay was on the Southwestern end of the hotel, and our view was some kind of power substation. It looked like something from the exterior of a super max prison whenever we looked out the window. There was also some excessively loud drilling happening at street level on our end of the hotel bright and early. These are both things that nothing can really be done about, but I felt the rate seemed high for such a terrible view, and the drilling was disruptive.

Passable

The rooms were clean. There is a fridge and microwave for your convenience. The rooms are roomy and opposite the Arena Stadium.

House keeping is not a given and you have to ask the night before for your beds to be made and bins emptied otherwise they don't come. Breakfast is very average and I would suggest you go elsewhere for better offerings. We had two shampoos and conditioner in the shower and no body soap. If you ring reception they never pick up. Attention to detail is sadly lacking in this hotel.
