Awesome in total; it's unique. I almost purchased it in 2016 :-)

The location is great - altitude is too high for some people (my wife for example) John and Marley are great; responsive, personable, fun Breakfast 6 stars out of 5

Room was really small; no chair or desk, no place for the suitcase. Bathroom needs updating for sure.

If you want a romantic getaway in the mountains, this is it!

The view was spectacular from our room. Lodge is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Spectacular scenic hiking trails close by. Food (paid extra for breakfast but worth it) was excellent. Within reasonable driving distance of other local attractions near Idaho Springs. The couple who run this B&B are friendly and awesome. If you want a romantic getaway in the mountains, this is it!

Sure, I could find something to complain about, but they are “first world problems” kind of stuff. Overall this was such an overwhelmingly positive experience.
