The house is lovely, as its hosts. We enjoyed the gardens and outside porches. We walked the town's shops and our chats with Jim and Russell. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Both Jim and Russell answered the many curiosity questions my husband threw at them! We hiked the first day at Catawba Falls Trail (it is also not far from Lake Lure or Chimney Rock State Park) and biked the Thermal Belt Rail Trail the second day (all 27 miles!). It's a great get away!!
