Nice and Clean! No bugs, quite, no smells, friendy clerk. We will stay there again.
I would of liked a softer pillow but it was great for what we needed. A little dated but over all comfortable.i forgot my blow dryer and the room didnt have one but thats fine.

No problems with wi-fi. Plenty of desk space. Good lighting in room: for working at desk, for reading in bed, and in general. Temperature control worked well on a hot July day. Comfortable bed: firm mattress, pillows neither too fat and solid nor too thin and skimpy. Hot water arrives promptly in shower; good flow from shower head. No problems with noise.
No in-room coffee. Ice machine in motel office, so not available round the clock. Room a bit small: not a lot of room to squeeze between the foot of the bed and the office chair.

We were looking for something that was safe, clean and comfortable for the most best price, for a 14 day stay. We didn't need fancy, we just needed clean, comfortable and budget friendly. This definitely fit the bill!
Some of the other "budget" properties in town were poorly lit, or not well maintained. We liked that the Budget Inn, although an older property, is well lit, and well maintained. Great quiet location, especially if you're around back. And the coin-op guest laundry was a plus, especially for a longer stay. The rooms are good sized, the microwave and mini fridge was a lifesaver. The beds were comfortable. In the end that's all we needed and we were able to cheerfully look past the things that could have used some repair, or TLC, because we did get such a great nightly rate.
It definitely was an older property, there were places on the walls that were just painted over rather than just being repaired, the air conditioner vents look like they hadn't been cleaned for a while and were full of dust, the bathtub had actual holes in it and the sheets had spots that were literally thread bare. When we first checked in we thought "oh dear, maybe we should have spent a little more instead of getting the cheapest place in town".... But in the end, we were there only to sleep.

The owner was great to work with.
One of our two rooms smelled strongly of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. And the other room had a shower that couldn't turn off.
