Location was good and it had a full kitchen to use
Very noisy alley with people walking through at all hours and waking us up. Mattresses were not comfy either.

A perfect location in the center of historic Gettysburg. Taverns, a diner, Starbucks, and unique shopping were all minutes away by foot. We had rented all three rooms at the Inn, and an adjoining townhouse, for a family occasion and were delighted by the well-decorated and comfortable lodging. Parking was either onsite (3 vehicles) or at a close-by garage. We made some of our own history by gathering three brothers, their families and their nieces and nephews from up and down the Eastern seacoast. We will be back.

We rented all three rooms at the Inn on Lincoln Square and an adjoining townhouse to accomodate an extended family celebration by 12 adults. The rooms in the Inn were spacious, beautifully decorated for the season and very comfortable. The townhouse rooms were comfortable and the kitchen and living spaces on the first floor were welcoming and more than met our requirements. Interesting shopping, lively taverns and food choices from diner plates to pub grub were all within easy walking from our lodging.
We wish we could have stayed more than 2 days!

The amount of space, number of beds, and the location were excellent. It was within walking distance for what we needed.
There was a weird smell at first, and the locks were quirky. Sometimes the locks didn’t seem to lock at all or were hard to use to gain entrance.

The Inn was very spacious and clean. I actually thought it was much nicer in person than it looked in the photos.
I contacted you regarding parking because we came with two vehicles, now I understand Gettysburg is small and you can only give one spot per person. My complaint is that we ended up paying for both vehicles because you neglected to mention through our message and on the booking policies that only three spots are open in the back. the other two spots were in the parking garage. THIS WAS IN A MESSAGE I RECIEVED THE DAY OF, 3 HRS PRIOR TO CHECK IN. I had already paid for my vehicle to be in the parking garage since it is PREPAY, and when my brother in law came you had none of the three spots available in the back of the building and his truck does not fit in the parking, *my point is you need to put in your ad PRIOR TO DAY OF ARRIVAL that two of your free spots are in the parking garage and customers cannot be guaranteed open parking in the back three spots. I would not stay here again based on how frustrating this situation was. My update is capitalized since previous review, I still feel pertinent information was not effectively given. Thankyou!

Stayed two nights. We didn't meet the owners but communication from them was excellent. Stayed in the Irene Danner suite. Plenty of room, a gorgeous four poster bed with steps up that I needed! Also a lovely sitting room and kitchen facilities that we didn't need but appreciate some might. Location is right in the centre near plenty of bars & places to eat. The owners supply plenty of information about the area in the room.
Prefer a stand alone shower rather than one over the bath but appreciate it is a beautiful period property and it really wasn't an issue at all.

The location is so convenient for shopping and dining. The Annie Danner suite was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.
Parking is provided but if the spaces behind the inn are taken you have to park in the parking garage. It is still included in the price but a little walk to the inn.

Great instructions for parking & how to enter. Very spacious and charming room. It felt more like an apartment. Loved that we had a kitchen. The 4 post bed is beautiful. The bathroom is nice & large. Great location & walking distance to everything. Perfectly located in the center of town!
I wanted to Buy one of those Lincoln Inn coffee mugs that is on the tables when you enter, but there were no prices & no one to ask. Maybe they're not for sale? That would be good to know too.

The location was amazing. The room was so large but cozy and the mini kitchen super handy. The owners were very communicative and accommodating and it was convenient to be able to text with them. We stay in Gettysburg often and this is our new favorite place! We will definitely be back!

The historic Inn is a nice step back in time. Plenty of room and good heating. Very convenient!
The copious traffic noise on the square was surprising and lasted well into the night. Our bed was the hardest I've slept on and I'm ex military. Food choices on the square were not anything special. We did visit the local Irish Pub and it was a good experience.

The location plus it had all the comforts of home. The owners were only a text away.
There were a couple of things that needed repair but I contacted the owners and brought it to their attention.

How easy it is to get in & out, walking or driving. The kitchenette was very useful. The arm chair & sofa were unexpectedly comfortable! Loved the huge bed and roomy bathroom. HUGE plus was the parking in the rear. We were able to use it all three nights. We felt wonderfully at home, and the owners were very responsive.

There wasn't breakfast. But the hotel is close to many different breakfast options. The location is right next to "Blue & Gray, an iconic, low-key pub that's a great place to grab a beer and a burger and watch a game (we watched games 1 & 2 of the Philly v. Astros World Series). Late night? Roll over, and you're in bed.
The room itself is very quaint and historic. The amenities (appliances, bedding, bed quality) could be updated. I would have loved a few more ghosts. Don't expect a staff! You get a door code for the front door and your room. No Staff is present except for housekeeping when needed. Not a dislike, just something to be aware of.
