The decor was within keeping of its namesake Hotel Texas. Room was clean and pleasant.
The shower head needs replacing in Rm 109. Beds are not comfortable and the pillows should be better.

The exterior of the hotel was really nice! The property was very clean. The parking lot was well lit. The bed was very comfortable. The ac in the room worked well. What we got for the price of the room was a good value since we were only there to sleep and get dressed for our family function.
The rooms need more attention as some of the items in the room appear dated or well used. The shower head had plenty of water pressure but the holes were plugged due to the water hardness which made the spray sparce. The tv was difficult to operate and there was no channel guide. The towels were very thin but clean. The toilet was loose. The exhaust fan in the restroom did not work.

They had to move us 3 times. The third room was decent n had proper lighting. It was clean n bed was comfortable.
Well, the church has been staying here for years. It seems to be getting run down a bit. Some said they will not be coming back.
