Recommended

The chocolate pancakes and lemonade were really good. There was a fridge and a quiet area at the 3rd floor where you could do your work. The no-shoes policy is very effective as the place is very clean.

Right decision, I'll be back for the next Washington trip!

The breakfast was great, fresh pancakes were prepared every day. The rooms are cozy and the beds comfortable. There is a lounge with a TV where movie nights were often held in the evenings. There is also a separate room for working. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the employee Marcus also showed me and a friend the best spots in the city. The location is great and you can get to the museums and monuments quickly.

ワシントンに来る方にはうってつけのホステル！

従業員の方が日本語を少し話してくれたため、英語にちょっと自信がない方でも恐れることなくチェックインできます！朝食にチョコチップの入ったパンケーキが用意してくれていて、これがまた美味しい！ホテルに泊まるよりも、絶対にホステルがオススメです。

階段が少しだけ急なので、お気をつけて！ちょっとだけ部屋が乾燥していたので、マスク等の対策は必要かも。

Bad Staff Behavior

The location is nice. Very near the Capital. Clean and Comfortable bed.

The staff behavior is very bad. They give no help after asking also. They won't keep luggage after checking out. It is very obvious in other hostels. In breakfast the boring Pancakes only they provide. The washroom is just on the ground floor for boys. Beds are noisy. other activities are missing as a hostel. strange to stay if you are accepting hostel culture here.

Günstig und sehr zentrale Schlafgelegenheit in D.C.

Es gibt jeden Morgen frische Pancakes mit Ahornsirup. In der Unterkunft müssen die Straßenschuhe im Eingangsbereich ausgezogen und auch dort abgestellt werden. Dadurch ist es überall sehr sauber. Es wird zudem sehr viel Wert auf Sicherheit gelegt, ohne PIN-Code kein Zugang.

Die Zimmer sind extrem klein. Im meinem Raum gab es nur ein Doppelstock-Bett und einen sehr kleinen Schrank. Für Tisch und Stuhl und andere Dinge war kein Platz. Es war zudem grundsätzlich sehr eng in dem Raum. Er ist ausschließlich zum Schlafen geeignet.

Excelente ubicación, a dos cuadras de la estación de metro Eastern Market, coneccion al aeropuerto y donde quieras. También se puede caminar, estas a 15 min del capitolio. Los del hotel super amables y abiertos a ayudar en todo. Un 10

Me senti como en casa

Me senti muy comoda, el personal fue muy atento y amable el desayuno muy bueno tambien y me senti como en casa ya que todo lo que necesitaba lo tenia a disposicion, muy completa la cocina la heladera con freezer, muy confortable

Quiza se podria evaluar la posibilidad de que en cada habitacion se encuentre solo mujeres o solo hombres, por ser mi primera vez en un hostel me senti media rara al principio compartiendo con hombres mi habitacion pero estuvo todo muy bien, siempre mucho r3espeto y luego del primer dia me acostumbre

Rude staff but infrastructure was livable.

The conversations with other guests were great.

I arrived 20 minutes early and the person checking me in gave a big lecture on how he was doing me a favor by checking me in. How the owner would never have allowed me in early. They served simple pancakes every single morning of my stay. The employees of the hostel were very rude at times. Apparently, they were understaffed so thought it was acceptable to take that frustration out on guests.

Great location near the mall, clean and quiet!

The property is in good condition, clean sheets, bathroom and kitchen. Quiet and well located right near the Washington mall.

I had to climb to my bed and the bathroom was on the first floor and my bedroom on the second. I realized I must keep in good shape to stay there.

Great price-value hostel with comfy beds, and clean & spacious barhrooms, and all you need to cook. Great location

Comfy beds, amazing outdoor terrace to read a book or just chill there. Clean and spacious bathrooms. 2 blocks away from the main subway lines. Overall it’s an amazing place to stay if you are young, if you’d like a little more privacy I’d go somewhere else

The small bunk bedroom was really small (it’s what I paid for, but I still want to point out 😂). Breakfast includes coffee and pancakes, but 2 out of our 3 breakfast we found no coffee left 40 mins before the breakfast ending time (it’s filtered coffee and we were running as usual, so we just had to leave). t

Bad

I had 8 roommates in a tiny room. Roommates kept snoring and farting all night. Made me want to puke. I stayed awake the entire night.

all pretty good except for some rude guests

it was pretty good for the price you pay. clean and in a good spot. close to all the things you’ll want to do.

it was all pretty good. the only bad thing was some of the guests did not adhere to the quiet after ten rule, which isn’t on the hostel but i wish they could enforce that rule, because i kept getting woken up

Exceptional

I was in DC and I stayed there 1 week. It was very nice to stay at this place, which actually is more a house than a hostel ! It was very clean (as clean as a normal family house), warm, quiet (during January), cosy and the owners did their best for the guests (every day they offered us a nice breakfast with pancakes, coffee etc and they were always smiling)! It is undoubtedly recommended even for longer stays than mine!
