Decente pero desconfianza del personal

El precio, es lo mas económico que se puede encontrar en Los Ángeles y por lo menos la habitación privada era decente. Las actividades diarias para conocer a otros huéspedes eran buenas y en general espacios comunes buenos (algo feos pero funcionales)

La habitación decía aire acondicionado y no tenía. Hubo un robo de una maleta que una amiga dejó en la custodia (storage room) y la verdad el hostel no se hizo responsable de nada, eso no era sorpresa, lo que si sorprendió fue la actitud del personal de recepción, no mostraron ningún interés en ayudar o dar calma a la situación lo que nos provocó desconfiar de ellos. Para revisar las cámaras tenían que contactar al manager, el manager decidió revisar las cámaras por si solo y solo dijo que entró un hombre ajeno al hostel y se llevó la maleta, pero en ningún momento mostraron los videos de las cámaras de seguridad, tampoco quisieron llamar ellos a la policía, lo cual deberían haberlo hecho dado que si había una investigación mi amiga no podría hacer nada ya que ya no estaría en el hostel y ellos eran los que tenían la evidencia de que el ladrón era una persona ajena al hostel. Dejaron a mi amiga sin ninguna solución ni evidencia de que ellos hicieron lo correcto y posterior a eso la obligaron a irse del hostel antes del horario que ella tenía previsto (ella estaba esperando para ir al aeropuerto). Finalmente dejaron de responderle el teléfono para actualizarla del robo.

Un buen lugar para quedarse en West Hollywood

Una buena experiencia en general. El personal muy amable y tienen bastantes actividades disponibles. La ubicación es perfecta si quieres estar cerca de Hollywood sin pagar una millonada.

El desayuno era bastante escaso y todos los días igual. Al ser un Hostel, por momentos era un poco ruidoso y había muchos grupos de jóvenes en las salas comunes, pero es lógico.

La ubicación era buena, aunque en transporte publico te demoras mucho en ir a todos sitios

Habia bichos en la habitación, una ventana que no se podia abrir, el desayuno es muy pésimo (magdalenas y tostadas (cuando hay))

They accepted other people but not me.

Nothing since I did not stay there.

Discriminative behavior. The receptionist claimed I needed a flight ticket for my next destination even though I told them that I could not buy my ticket before having my passport which was the reason why I went to LA. He did not ask anyone else except me. After calling the police, it turns out that the place has been already on their list as a problematic one.

Very good

The staff was kind and gentle, the guests were quiet, and the beds were clean. There is a school nearby and the public order seems to be good. There were plenty of cafes etc.

The room was poorly ventilated and damp, so the windows had to be opened. The fan didn't work.

terrible journey

First of all, I really liked the place where the accommodation is located. But I never recommend this place. The experience this place gave me was really the worst. I chose it because the option said there was a heater, but there was no heater in the room (even a hair dryer). Thanks to this, I slept for three days shaking in the extreme cold, and I was able to get it with difficulty only by asking the front desk. I received one small heater and received it because they said they would give me a blanket if it was cold, but it was an unidentified blanket with a very strange smell. There was a strange smell in the room similar to that you can usually smell in the basement. Worst of all, I could see baby, and junior cockroaches under the refrigerator at once. The number was so great and terrible that I ended up checking out my accommodation at 3 a.m., and I was homeless at the airport. Thanks to this accommodation, my long trip ended horribly, and I am so angry that I write this to help if someone else tries to choose this accommodation.

Nice stay

We had a 4 bed private room and it was very comfy and clean. The staff was super friendly and there was free coffee and a small breakfast in the morning (oats & muffins). The common areas were very clean.

The building is a little bit old and the kitchen was often dirty. But this is only because no one cleans after themselves 🙄

Very good

Excellent location, spacious rooms, good price, helpful staff. Nice to have fridge/microwave and free coffee and pastries in the morning.

Breakfast ran out very quickly so had to get there early. Very noisy at weekends. Air conditioning was just a fan. Rooms don't get cleaned while you're there.

The place in ok. Room and bathroom ok. localisation ok. Breakfast's a joke. Staff not so helpful.

Kitchen accessible

The "included breakfast" was a JOKE. He had 3 morning there. On the first one, i informed the staff that there were no tea. I'm not asking for fresh papaya juice, just tea. "Oh. I don't know, we may have run out". Thanks for the help. Still no tea for second and third morning. For the food, there were a few tiny muffins, or some oats. Still for kitchen stuff, if wasn't very clean (don't know who to blame here, btw the staff or the disrespectful clients) The room was kinda ok. However, the balcony-sliding-glass-door was in so bad shape, that you could not entirely close it. Always a 1-2cm space at the top, letting enter both the cold and the noise. Talking about noise, it was a pleasure (not the irony here), to have people at 11.30pm playing very loud music in the "garden", just below the window of most of the room. I almost had to apologize when asking myself for some calm (don't expect moderation from the staff)
