The view was amazing. The staff was very nice to us. The hotel itself is really pretty as a whole. We enjoyed our stay despite a few inconveniences. The location was perfect! We definitely would come back.
It wasn't the most up to date and there were some logistical issues with the facilities, and our room in particular.
Firstly, the elevators on one side of the hotel seemed to be out of order and/or in poor working condition. So we figured out which one worked best and used that elevator, however so did everyone else staying at the hotel which made waiting for the elevator an event in itself. We even made a game of guessing how many people would be on the elevator when the door opened each time.
Secondly, when we entered our room, I went to turn the light on. Upon turning on the light, it started blinking repeatedly in a strobe light effect. I had to figure out how to isolate that one light and turn it off quickly due to my wife and I both having epilepsy. Strobe light effects can trigger seizures so having that light flashing was not cool at all. Also in the room I noticed that on one side, the AC (air conditioning) vents were blowing harder than the on the other side. As I walked past a closet, I could feel cold air blowing from the door. I opened the closet door and saw the unit and duct work which had been repeatedly taped and painted to patch up big holes in the airduct. There was more air coming out the sides of the duct work than the vent itself. So obviously it needed to be professionally repaired before anyone else books that room. It took hours for the temperature to cool down on the living room/balcony side of the unit. I notified both the hotel staff and Hosteeva about the issues.

The location. It’s close to the boardwalk.
No smoking on balconies. But we do get why they do it. We vaped but ALWAYS went downstairs.
The pull out bed was uncomfortable. You had springs in your back the whole time.

We love Camelot by the sea, it’s close to everything, perfect walk to the beach. And the pools are clean and never too crowded.
