It is a beautiful retro property that has been redone to have modern amenities and comforts.
Unfortunately the rooms share a thermostat so our room happened to get very warm, uncomfortably so. But it was also a fluke we visited during one of the hottest weekends so far this summer. I don’t think this would be an issue if it was not for the very hot days and nights we had.

We attended the Cornell Reunion, and everything closer was booked. Parking is right in front of your room, which gives you easy access. The room is larger than it seems and very bright. The shower worked well, but the bathroom is small. There are areas for kids to play and a pit fire, they gave us a kit to make s'mores. It might seem a bit far from town, but if you have a car it doesn't matter. Check in and out were easy and you have a bird feeder outside your window, we saw birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Everyone was very nice. It was cold outside, but heating inside worked perfectly.
The bathroom is small, and our room was never cleaned during our 3-night stay. We were next to a staff-only room (or closet) and they slammed the door at 7 AM - we were tired from travelling so that wasn't great.

Didn’t have breakfast. The room was fine. A little spartan, but fine.
The list of rules and expectations from the motel. The room was way overpriced in my opinion for our type of stay. We only needed a bed and bath and not a kitchenette and sitting room. I don’t expect to be responsible for housekeeping during mt stay so telling me to sweep the floor was a turn off for us. I didn’t ask for special items but I object to being told to sweep the floor. I’m ok with no housekeeping service, that’s an extravagance I don’t need or want.
