High up on the hill where the castle winds gleam,
The Auberge de Bouillon became a sweet dream.
For seven full days—what a lucky, bright number—
My heart found a peace that could waken from slumber.
Though years bring their burdens and walking is slow,
As an elder who carries a handicap's blow,
I felt truly blessed in this haven so grand,
Surrounded by angels of heart and of hand.
The Heart of the House:
Mme Marie-José: Our Belgian-Portuguese dame,
Whose cooking and breakfasts put magic to shame!
With a heart full of gold and a divine, gentle way,
She brightened each meal and she sweetened each day.
Chiara: With a warm, southern, Belgian-Italian grace,
She brought sunny warmth to the heart of the place,
And tempted my soul with Sardinian dreams,
Or Sicily's shores and her bright coastal gleams (if God gives me time!).
Camille: A true pro from Bouillon born and bred,
With a caring, warm heart where good spirits are fed.
Célia: So discreet, yet her welcoming spirit shines through,
A vital sweet part of the wonderful crew.
Stella: With Eastern-most charm and a step light and neat,
She sweeps dust and bad energy out on the street!
Nathan: The organizer, forever on the run,
Keeping the schedule and managing the fun.
Romain: The great Captain who pilots the craft,
High up on the hill where we've smiled and we've laughed.

We liked the view. A lot! We were grateful for the addition of a fan in the room. The beds were clean and quiet. We had a sink and shower in our room, with the toilets opposite the room. The staff were friendly. Parking right outside was very convenient.
Having 4 chairs in the room instead of just 2 would have been a bonus.

It was very cozy and the rooms were nice and clean. Service was also very good. The breakfast was good. The price was very good.
The electricity didn’t work for a while because of an accident in the kitchen. But at the end of the night they fixed it. The biggest problem was that they didn’t have warm water for the shower and the sings.
