We absolutely loved Pozzo di Mazza — it was the highlight of our trip to Sicily and one of those places I already know I’ll remember forever! <3
The whole place is incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. It has that slightly magical quality where you wake up in the morning, look around and think: yes, this is exactly, where I want to be in this heat. Peaceful, warm, lush and completely unhurried.
And the pool! It honestly looks like something from a film. Surrounded by greenery and the Sicilian landscape, it was ridiculously beautiful. We spent hours there and I could have happily stayed by that pool for the entire holiday.
The food was spectacular, but also felt homemade. The best in Syracuse. Properly, memorably good — fresh, generous, full of flavour and made with wonderful local ingredients.
What really makes Pozzo di Mazza special, though, is the feeling of the place. It’s beautiful without being pretentious, relaxed without feeling impersonal, and everyone was so genuinely warm and welcoming. We were there with our baby and felt completely at ease.
We left feeling like we had experienced a little piece of the Sicily we had hoped to find. I would go back in a heartbeat.

la struttura ha soddisfatto la nostre esigenze avendo anche un cane c'era tanto spazio verde molto apprezzato. La stanza molto spaziosa e pulita così come il bagno. La colazione varia con prodotti freschi del luogo veramente ottima. Lo staff gentilissimo e Marino ci ha dato diverse dritte molto utili. Abbiamo anche cenato una sera nella struttura, non c'è un menù alla carta ma la cuoca ha cucinato piatti locali squisiti. Lo consigliamo a chi vuole visitare Siracusa e tutta la parte sud orientale.
